Thanks for such a comprehensive review, I was glad to understand the difference between 15D and 210T. 1😎

Interesting. Rain isn’t much of an issue in CA but this may just be the perfect poncho when there’s a chance. Thank you for posting this.

That is a great looking well made poncho. I have one of their large tarps (3x4 meter) coming which will arrive in a couple of days for a two week trip that begins in the next 11 days. I live in Thailand and its rainy season so I can kick myself for not ordering one of these. I will buy a poncho locally but it will be nowhere near the quality of this for price (not enought time to order). I will buy one for later use. You Set it up really nice as a tarp too. Excellent review. Really detailed. Thanks

Love 3ful gear. Awesome stuff. True story, I can use the 15d version as an improvised short hammock without it ripping, by folding it over on the ends and tying it in. The 210 would be even stronger. I am not a heavy guy by any means (135lbs), but the fact that I can should let others know how strong it actually is. I am probably at it's upper limit, but it should tell people it is pretty good quality.

I'm about to decide which version to get, slvees or non slevees. The first has the tarp option which is really cool and probably better ventilation. The second probably flap way less in the wind and ye.. get your arms covered. Damn I can't decide, what you suggest?
Anyway thank you so much for the reviews watched a couple and were so on point, subscribed!

Honestly I'd buy both. They're so low cost some work better on some trips some work better on others

Not gonna lie- had to pull out the old grams to ounces converter lol. Great review. Definitely something I'd consider as a shelter once the bugs die off

once the bugs die off think about using that on an angle over top of your hammock just to keep the condensation from dripping off the trees on you

Actually this tarp protects you even better when you lie IN A HAMMOCK because your body is slightly curved (is shorter horizontally) and fixed in place (you won't stick your feed outside the tarp by accident during the night). On the contrary, for sleeping on the ground 230 cm tarp length feels barely enough for a 6 feet tall person. Unfortunately these cheap AliExpress brands don't sell anything longer than 230 cm. I've seen only expensive brands e.g. SeaToSummit selling 265 cm tarps which covers your full body even better.

I still have the older one without the belt, wanting to add a belt.
If I get it correctly, it's:
    - attched right under the velcro?
    - And on the back panel part?
    - Right on the seam?
    Thanks a lot!

Would you consider still using a rain kilt/skirt or pants with the poncho for full coverage? Or does the poncho provide plenty of rain cover?

No joke, if you find that you dont want your stuff sack for this poncho, I'll take it for the price of postage. I lost mine in the smokies and I miss it so.
