Just wanted to give a shout out to the AEM dev. I finally picked up AEM over the holidays. Unfortunately I’m having a problem using my midi keyboard. I contacted the dev, and he got back to me almost right away. Although we don’t have a solution yet, he has had me go thru a number of things. Since we couldn’t get a solution, he asked me what kind of keyboard I have, and has actually ordered one so he can figure out the problem. If this isn’t going above and beyond, I don’t know what is! I have no doubt that he will figure it out. Looking forward to getting into this app.
Devs that respond quickly are the best if anyone is into modular syths you should check out audulus 4 it's mind bending and has a very very responsive and supportive development team
Nice to see a DAW developer have regular updates. Do you by chance know if AEM has multi-core processing like Cubasis has that allows larger projects to run smoothly?
I'm not sure but I would guess no, not currently. However, I haven't had any issues with larger projects in AEM vs Cubasis so I would try it out and see how it goes for you
@@iPadBeatMaking Thanks for your feedback and for the channel/content glad to have a growing iOS Music Production Community! I will give it a go to see how it performs.
Thanks for the news! I currently use my Magic Keyboard with my iPad right now so keyboard shortcuts would be great. Anything that gets it closer to a full fledged DAW because no Logic from Apple yet 😢🤙🏼
Is anybody else having problems with monitoring their audio coming in? I see that there is an option in preferences to turn on software monitoring, but I cannot get it to work with either my baby face or my iRig pro duo. Is there another option that I missing or is there some kind of trick to hearing your dry guitar or affected guitar when the record button is armed but you were not recording? Right now I can only hear what the daw is hearing on playback.
When u turned on the software monitoring did u hit the ‘close’ button on the top left? If you don’t complete that step it will default back to the original setting.
Man...I might have to cop this. The amount of care the dev puts into this, and updates...yeah. I wish BM3 had this amount of trackpad support. Is there anything deterring you from using AEM over other mobile DAWS? I usually make beats and shit, but I would like to start recording my guitar and bass and stuff for other genres like metal/rock.
I like AEM for vocal tracking and mixing. It also does a lot well for BeatMaking but obviously beatmaker 3 is an entire app dedicated to that one task. Almost like a maschine or mpc on the iPad. NanoStudio 2 has the best preset/patch menu system on iOS IMO but in terms of being able to use groups, stack audio fx (auv3 etc) and the vocal tune IAP’s nothing comes close to AEM
Wonderful video.. It would be nice if we could get themes on audio evolution mobile studio.. Audio evolution mobile studio is 🔥🔥💯 I currently operate on audio evolution mobile studio because of its stability,I have created an arrangement with about 12-15 tracks and it didn't crash. You rarely see that on Android DAWs.

Two words, Game changer!!! I have been loving scrolling. Smooth and accurate. Thanks Dev 🙏🏾

The good news continues since AEM *also* has keyboard shortcuts!
I have recently found Wavebox to be very nice to use for editing single audio clips before importing into DAW of choice (AEM at the moment)
What are some things u like about it?

@@iPadBeatMaking thanks. I think that may have been the issue.
