Always one step behind Lockheed and Boing since the 1940s. Owell, Russian planes have always been very aesthetically pleasing. Mig-29 has always been one of my favorite planes to look at.
A nicely made little "cameo" of some great Russian aircraft. All politics and such aside, I've always liked Russian military tech, it's faults and foibles notwithstanding. Foxbat Mig 25 being the 1st Russian heavy jet I really liked, the Hind 24 series being my fav of the choppers (even now, esp the later variants). And of course the Fulcrum is such a typical Russian classic - love it. My fav from WWII was the PE-2: you Russians now how to make 'em to take the hits! :)
I the world of Air force aviation I love a whole bunch of fighters, but the ones that I desire to fly are American and Russian fighters. Now then, this video I say is good in quality. Older planes like Su-24, Su-25, basic versions of MiG-29 and Su-27 do have old cockpits since in their time there werent any LCD screens. Look up on google pictures of Su-35, MiG-29M2, MiG-35, Su-30, Yak-130 etc. cockpits and you will see how they look today :)
I have a very good friend that received training in the F-22 (Langley, and Tyndall Air Bases). Said it was, basically, a "DUD"! He does, however, have a preference for the F-16; now THAT'S an airplane! N-6395T
Thats not Su-25, its Yak-130. Yes, intakes are covered during take off and landing to prevent bird or some object fly into engine. There are auxiliary intakes on top of plane body that are open during take off and landing and closed during flight when main intakes are open.
They built the F-22 to maintain air superiority, not that anything came close to threatening American superiority. We just wanted to maintain it. Even our F-15's are still capable of beating anything in the skies today.

In Russian army, most of modern air to ground weaponry is based on a missile with a warhead so they dont have to decrease speed a lot to launch a missile.

There are ~100 Su-27SM/2 in service, which are modernised Su-27, with similar electronics as on Su-30/35. There are around 150 more that are qaiting modernisation IN SERVICE. Other than that, there are around 100 in reserve (not in service). There are 200 MiG-29s IN SERVICE and 90 has to go for overhaul because of the tail rudder problems. Well, every single aircraft USAF has except F-22 is sold to other countries so i dont see your point there?
@sukhoi235 Okay, I see. Those silver bands painted around the intakes confused me. I thought it looked like plastic stretched over the opening, but it's really just a very well fitted door that is painted the same color as the bands on the intake lips. I love how Russian planes are built to fly from rough strips as well as smooth runways. I'd like to see an F-15 take off from anything other than a concrete runway!

Actually Russia is expanding their industrial capacity, update your info a little bit, we`re not living in 90s. And i forgot to mention. WHOLE fleet of F-22s was grounded for a year because of oxygen and ejection seat problems that some of which still exist, and now WHOLE fleet of F-35s is grounded becuase of engine and structure problems.
Last time I check we lost Vietnam. The Mig-21 was more combat effective than the F-4 and we lost a lot of planes and lives in Vietnam. Also, the only planes that were ever over Russia were spy planes, at least one got shot down. We have never engaged first rate Russian since Vietnam. The tanks and planes that Iraq had were old junk that was poorly maintained and manned by poorly trained cowards. We have good equipment and excellent training but arrogance and lack of respect can ruin us.
