Love this!! Thank you for the glow in the dark idea it adds another layer of interest great idea!! Hope to see many more tutorials 💕 thank you for sharing your talent!
You never cease to amaze me! Thanks so much for sharing! I passed up the glow in the dark clay never dreaming of this application! Bravo! Please forgive my overuse of the !!!
Jessama, that was totally awesome! I looove how you did a sculpture on a gorgeous shell! Abalone shells are my favourites, and now you've added your sculpture to it, it's beautiful on both sides! Your innovative idea of using glow in the dark polymer clay was brilliant, and mixing it with other colours worked extremely well. I love the glow in the dark version of the two shells the most. There was something about it that reminded me of dead coral which is strangely beautiful and so delicate. I am obsessed with all things of the sea, so your sculpture was right up my street. Thank you so much for this tutorial. I must get some shells and give this idea a go!
thank you very much! i was really struggling with making coral, following this video helped a lot to get me out of my rut and come up with some new coral afterwards, too!
This is so pretty! I could use a rock maybe since I don't live near the ocean? I think my grandchildren will have fun making this with me. Thank you Samantha.
You can buy seashells online if you would like to do it on a shell 😉 I'm quite lucky, I live a 5 minute stroll away from the beach, on the northeast coast of England, but most of the shells I find are quite small. The larger ones tend to brake before they get washed up as there is a rocky area that they get smashed up against 😭
I absolutely love all of your tutorials, thanks so much for sharing with us all! I'm sure it must be difficult to put these projects all together for us to learn from, and it's greatly appreciated! I was so inspired by this I made a similar piece last night, ready to bake :) Soooooo excited to see how it comes out ! Huge fan, and again, thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge and tips with us all
Hi I have a question - Can you make a video of using multiple colors for polyps? Cause I’m having a little problem finding the right technique and I use it also to make patterns in the inside’s. Hope u see it this time. Some days you content help me getting a on face
I have a technical question. I understand conditioning the clay and how it is like waking up the polymers. For baking the clay does it matter if the polymers are awake? Will it matter if a piece sits for an extended time before baking?
No, wake up the clay to work with it, but it can sit for days maybe weeks before being cured. Just make sure it sits on a non-porous surface, not something like paper.
Well… it’s a beautiful work .. Iam really inspired by you and iam going to try this too… But i have a problem..!! I don’t know the name of white base.. can you please tell me??? Lots of love ❤️❣️❣️❤️
Thank you Samantha, I found some at happythings. Cost a lot from there for me but if I won’t it I have to pay the price lol. It is worth it for me 😊 thank you for all your beautiful work that you show use. You are very talented ☺️
@@JessamaTutorials well, I was thinking of doing all the steps in your tutorial, bake the clay on the shell and then after it's cooled, take the baked clay off and then glue it on to the shell? Or, you could try using a nail buffing block to gently remove the shine off the shell..... I know, it's all extra work, but doesn't really take that much more time or effort...
I have created coral reefs before, but never on shells! Now I will...so much fun.
Fabulous idea with the pasta machine! Love it

Fabulous. Thank you.
😳Beautiful...so talented👍
Wonderful! It was so inspirational and helpful. The plain colored one looks a bit like pasta, but I do like how it glows so much brighter.
That was great! Thank you for showing us how to do the shells!

Very beautiful Samantha does the colored clay still glow?
Yes The colored clay does still glow. I show that at the end of the video.

Superb , wonderful....I licked
What a fun project to do. What would I use to cover this for outdoor use?
I'm not sure what you'll need. Try Ginger at the Bluebottletree. She should know.
Thanks you that helps a lot ❣️

I put white premo polymer clay onto an abalone shell.
Thanks alot 🫶
@Jessama Tutorials
Can the clay be put through cake decoration tips, or would it be too thick?
love this! Does the glow-in-the dark work under resin?
Yes, it does.
Do you mind me asking where you bought the glow in the dark glow? I would love to make some for my grandchildren ❤️
I bought the glow in the dark premo at polymerclay.com.au

Do you have a tutorial for the rock in the middle top part of the screen in the beginning of the video???
Would it work if you glue the clay on to a shiny shell after it's baked?
You could try, but I'm not sure that would work. How would you get the clay to fit the shape of the shell?

@@sandramccormick8326 I mean... what's the worst that happens? Either your idea works, or you end up gluing parts anyway. Why not try it~?
Do you think that coloring the glow in the dark clay with glow in the dark acrylic paint would work?
I don't thick the clay would glow if you colored it with paint. The inks are translucent whereas the paint isn't.
