Play in HD for best audio! I wanted to play something Chinese-themed for Chinese New Year, but it's hard to improvise something that hasn't already been written in the Chinese musical context. As a musician based on Western classical music, I have a limited knowledge of non-Western harmonies to draw upon.
It's really messy too, but I guess everything about CNY is messy, and the more rowdy the better. Somewhere towards the end you can tell I've lost the musical line, but I was somewhat saved by the software suddenly crashing due to the MIDI input being too intense for my laptop to handle. So on the audio file it appears as a sudden pause, after which I managed to pick up the melody again to conclude.
