Muito obrigado pela informações depois de dois dias procurando algo que realmente explicasse sem propagandas ou coisas inúteis achei esse maravilhoso vídeo! merece like comentário e ainda um inscrito!
Omg thank you so much ❤❤❤ you saved me after 3 days of no internet! I always look for your videos because you dummy proof them (I'm the dummy and I thank you so much for that!)
I use to manage all unifi APs and switches with unifi controller on prem. Can't wait for the next tutorial ..migrate your local existing unifi to the cloud. Anyway thanks.
thanks for this. if you get around to making a related video would like to see how the unifi controller is configured using ipsec tunnels and edgerouters. I have a tunnel to a remote site with edgerouters all working fine. The controller is on a synology NAS, the remote site connects to the controller using DHCP option 43. All good, switches and AP's all adopted. What I can't figure out is how to configure the unifi switches across the ipsec tunnel. For example, I set VLAN's up on the remote ER and now I would like to assign the VLAN to specific ports on the Unifi Switch using the controller. Is this even possible? I am still learning the networking details..... thanks and keep you videos coming...
This is possible! It may be something I cover in a future video, but it may be a bit before I cover it. I personally manage Unifi switches over Edgerouter VPN tunnels, but there are quite a few moving parts. If you'd like personalized assistance please reach out via e-mail.
great video. thanks

Great video. This is the reason I opt for Meraki :)

Toasty,
Is there not a way to set this up in the same way on a DO server or in GCP? I'm thinking that it should be just as simple of a process?
You could, but that's much the same as hosting it yourself. The application and security still has to be managed by you.
Part 2 ?
