I recently quit a Goodwill I worked at because that location was corrupt as hell but these pallets are usually the salvage boxes. Anything us "pricers" don't think will sale we'll throw in there. Also there are people who "purge" out on the floor and take out everything with the certain color tag they're are purging that week and it all gets dumped in the salvage and that's just stuff that has been sitting for a few weeks and hasn't sold.

Josh, the mystery pallets are so much fun to watch. If you add up the ad money you make from these video’s and how many extra people subscribed to your channel because of these palettes, I’d say they where worth it in the long run.

    • @HairyTornado

They were worth it just for the actual profit on the items. Ive made over $2500 from them all together. But factoring in the youtube revenue will make them my best business move ever, for sure.

I would agree that if it wasn't for the youtube income the pallets were not feasible based on your time investment plus the cost of storage. But with youtube figured in, you absolutely killed it with the pallets. It was nice that you could find someone to flip the leftovers to at the same cost as what you paid.

Fun thing about old SD cards, if you find a 2GB SD card it may be worth more than much larger SD cards. Some devices don't work with the SDHC format (or later formats) that cards moved on to for higher capacity. One example is my 3D printer, which lead me down a path to buying a 2GB card that cost more than 64 GB cards. 2GB is the largest size pre-SDHC cards can be. Of course, the problem is that some 2GB SD cards are SDHC....

Josh, my son used to work for Bennington Potters. It is a pottery manufacturer in Bennington, VT. They are all new items. Some are collectable but usually they are items made years ago and discontinued from the production schedule. Bennington Potter's products is made after "old 1840" style pottery. There are plenty of websites for collectors. Very similar to those collecting Pyrex. Good Luck

I noticed that you put in the 'to go' box a stitching kit that looked unopen. Depending on the content, those still sell for good money due to being hard to find any more. I would look it up on Etsy to see how much it's going for (instead of ebay) mainly because crafters seem to gravitate to Etsy for these type items.

You mentioned people donating junk... the thrift stores all have a headache with some people who seem to use their donation boxes as dumpsters. It costs them money to dispose of a lot of that worthless junk. And my big pet peeve is people who donate non-working stuff that can't be easily tested in the store. I've learned to carry a universal power cord in a fanny pack when I go hunting for laptops, and a 110 to 12 volt converter for testing any automotive accessories.

Don't forget to toss that power cord in the bin with the printer. You were covering it up with the save pile. Bad thing with those ink printers is once the cartridges are open and used in the machine it's at risk of drying up in the machine causing a headache to get working again ifit was sitting too long and I assume that wasn't brand new with cartridges outside the machine.

You'd be surprised by what you can get for those dinky little space heaters (like the one you put in your go away gaylord box) - especially if they are the ceramic kind. Some were/are made in the USA. Worth checking out comps before tossing. I love those remote control cars/motorcycles. I recently realized how much money you can make on them. Bought a Disney Pixar Toy Story remote control car made by Thinkway Toys (14"). Paid $7.00 for it at the thrift, and sold it for $110 on Ebay within a week. And that was with a broken antenna on the car the wireless remote. Still, it worked by without antennas. They are often over-looked by resellers.

I enjoyed all your videos even with the numbers of pallets you gave uncover. Maybe try some liquidation pallets as other YT have done.. pretty interesting to see!! Keep up the good contents.

You should've kept the print of the building in the broken frame. They're worth money. My mom buys them for $20-$25. Just for a piece of paper with a building on it

The value in the pallets has been how its grown your youtube channel. So when you judge the value of doing them factor in where your channel was and how much it was making before them and how you are doing now. I think with that calculation you would definitely do them again. And I hope you do because they have been fun videos.

Are you having trouble with usps getting you packages delivered? If so what steps are you doing to keep customers happy? I'm having customers that are understanding and some that are pissed at me.

You need to look up the lens on the camera as they can easily be worth as much or more than a used camera. A good lens will always be a good lens.
