This is my most anticipated Christmas -related RUclips video every year 😅 I love how thoughtful and fitting your gifts are for each child, yet all within a very reasonable budget. I’m not a fan of the “influencer” videos that go so over the top with gift giving. Your gift videos always feel so realistic while still being intentional and personalized to each kid. My husband would burn the gators shirt before I could get a chance to return it lol. Your family is proof that you don't have to go crazy at Christmas, your system seems fair and is plentiful enough. You have a large family, you're not rich and Christmas will be just as special as any other family's. Appreciate you sharing what you got them, we only have 3 boys and Christmas is a crunch lol. Nice seeing other parents not go extravagant and broke too lol💛✨️

Your video from 2022 was the first what I got for my kids I saw. I couldn’t wait to see you this year. You do a wonderful job with your family. I love the way you implement the rules but really make them applicable to each child and expand upon it with thought.

I am 60 now and I loved the little house books as a kid, and reread them over and over. I wish they would have had those dolls when I was a kid. Anyway you picked out great gifts that are well thought of and best of all you let your kids be kids. You did well.

Reading on a fire is great. I'm an avid reader also and when I got my fire i was so excited. A fire will hold a lot of books and is very nice to carry than a book.

i got my 6 year old daughter the little house on the prairie picture book treasury for christmas! its a beautiful book also my fav when i was younger along with anne of green gables haha i love those outfits and dolls!!

When my kids were small I would have a budget for each child they all got the same amount, and beginning of December I would go Christmas shopping , with a list for what my kids said they wanted for Christmas,I enjoyed buying Christmas gifts 🎁 for my kids, but I hated the wrapping of the gifts! Have a lovely time at Christmas 🎅 and i hope your kids love ❤️ their gifts 🎁

I still enjoy the Little House books and tv show and I'm over 60. I've been a Laura Ingalls Wilder fan since 1970 when I discovered the books at age nine. I would have absolutely been thrilled to have had those dolls, the doll clothes, the coloring book and the bear playset as a child. I was able to visit the home of Laura and Almanzo at Rocky Ridge Farm several years ago. That is a treasured memory. You chose such nice gifts for all the children. I do wonder how you ever keep straight which child gets which gifts. Do you have a list? I think I'd be forgetting who gets what. :-) Merry Christmas to all of you. 🎄

So I do keep a list… not gonna lie sometimes I can’t remember who I was thinking of when I bought something (like the cross necklaces) so I have to think a bit.

I look forward to this video every year! I love how you shop for your kids. When I was a little girl, I would have been over the moon to get all of that Little House on the Prairie stuff! I read all of the books to my daughter until she was old enough to take over reading them herself. Oh an ‘avid’ crocheter…my kind of girl. She should come crochet with this old lady some time. I crochet every day. As you are aware this year (2024) is my 16th yr crocheting for NICU for Christmas Donations. My granddaughter who is 11 is learning to crochet 🧶. I’m so tickled too. She’s watched me crochet all of her life. Enjoying catching up on your videos.
Also one year, I bought my grown kids Fire tablets. I thought they would think it was silly since they’re old enough to buy their own. But. THEY LOVED IT!
Oh wow, the typewriter. I was a Secretary for years and years and I loved typewriters. LOVED THEM! What FUN.
My daughter has always given my grandson 4 presents. He is now 13 and the presents are more expensive.

The little house on the prairie stuff looks so cute I love it!! I had wished for close in age girls but I didn't get to experience that, my daughters are 9 years apart. My boys have been able to get similar clothes and toys and share.

Those are great gifts! My brother and I got Super Mario Chess when we were younger and we still have it for younger kids to play with. Honestly, I would've loved those Little House dolls as a little girl. I was into American Girl at the time. Merry Christmas Fields family! 😃

The little bear set with the cabin is so cute! I think if you put the domed lid from the baby bears box under that box it will turn it into a rocking cradle.

I love her books as well! The "Blessing" book series is my favorite. I have a paperback of every book in that series. I reread the series often. I have several of her series but those are my favorites.

If you still get the Florida shirt for your son just print out a picture of the shirt and wrap it up and tell him it’s still coming

We have really tried to bring Christmas giving way down... it just was getting so out of hand and I didn't want to create ungrateful expectant adults who don't appreciate what they do have.
We try to do one thing they want, a book, an event (like going to an arcade, bowling, movie theater) something they could definitely use/need and stockings!
This year...
A squishmellow
A heated throw blanket (because they always fight over mine!
House shoes (again, they try to take mine)
A book
Bath bombs (they love these things!)
Going to an arcade
And stockings loaded with goodies
We have two and try to keep it as similar as possible to keep it simple
As a twilight fan I’m so happy you got the girls the movies and books 🤣💗 will be doing the same once my girls are older lol

Love it all! You're going to want to buy screen protectors asap and they come in packs of several. Not expensive but necessary with kids! You can also find inexpensive rubber cases for added protection!
I have both on my iPad and it’s the best thing ever. I have dropped my iPad a lot and it’s still working because of the case

I think it’s better to get a small amount of gifts but gifts the child wants or needs then to give them a ton of gifts they don’t really need or want like I see some channels do.

My husband grew up in the aviation hobby. Please research RC clubs in your area and find an adult RC hobbyist who can help train him on flying that drone. Those lightweight drones fly away super easily and can get caught in trees as well. Even if you only spent $20-$50 on it, it came get lost on the very first flight. Trust me. If you don't have clubs in your area or a hobbyist willing to help them go to an open grassy field like a soccer field, church field, football field, farmland, where you could easily locate it.
