    Chuck roast right up my alley… You can’t beat a good chuck steak that’s for sure!

    I like the way you think and cook outside the box.

    If you have an Aldi's nearby, they have them. I seared some on the grill then in the crockpot with bouillion for 5-6 hours.
    Gonna try your method next.

      I am looking at this a bit after the fact as I picked up some boneless chuck country style ribs from Aldi as well. Price was fair at $5.99/lb. I marinated these a day-&-a-half in a mayo/mustard slather with some extra garlic powder and a commercial steak rub. I had set to sear then smoke/braise, but after grilling a few to medium doneness to nibble on for appetizer, the girlfriend said "get 'em off, they're good." Now, she may have been extra hungry, put they did cook up nice and tender just direct grilling them. I'd definitely do again the same way. I just hope results weren't an aberration.

    Great job on that cook. I have a Chuck roast in the freezer and I am going to do this on my Weber. Keep up the great work!

    You can order Johnny's Seasoning from Tac City Goods . They have all kinds to choose from. Don't know about prices but they had a special a year ago because of Joe and Zach Survival . That's where I get mine .

    Great video. It was thorough and not overly done with (imo) a bunch of non sense stuff that the average person will have without going out and spending $50 on extra stuff. I just want to eat some meat, not become an all out super chef. Good job 👍

    I don't know how you are keeping the temperature that low with that much charcoal in the grill. I'm filling my chimney about halfway and struggling to keep the temp below 360 with the grates almost closed.

      I’ve had that problem a lot. I go back and forth between my charcoal and gas grill.

    Look awesome but I live in an apartment no grilling. Can I do these in the oven? If so what temp and how long. Thanks.

    • @TosTinManEasyCooking
      @TosTinManEasyCooking  5 лет назад

      Yeah, you could probably cook them the same way in the oven. Probably set the oven to about 275-300 degrees F and then just follow the approximate cooking time and steps I used on the grill.

    What do you got for game meats?? (Deer/duck breasts, etc....).

      I haven't really cooked any wild game lately so I don't have much advice on that.

    Absolutely unnecessary to cook them for 4 hours for any reason. It's a waste of your time Jim. Thank you for the video though.
