I use this pack once or twice a year to walk the Camino de Santiago. Mine is about 4 years old, has mesh pockets on the arm straps, I replaced the sit pad with 1/8 inch foam pad which I can put under my inflatable sleeping pad. It has a different detachment clip for the hip belt. I love it.
Have you thought about using your Barco Lounger in the mesh behind your back instead of the egg crate foam pad? Also, for the Gatorade bottle holders on your straps...can you slide the bungee through the channel that is holding the D-rings or is the channel too slim? That would lower the profile of the water bottle along the straps.
Thanks for reviewing this. We're looking to add another pack for our next Hawaii trip and our current one is pretty small in comparison to this one. (Looks like the pup gave up when no dog treats were gonna come out of that pack!)
Nice, always good to have options. Gossamer Gear is another great company too. That weight range is right in my wheelhouse. Why didn't you have to use the pack cover?
I honestly was really impressed with the pack and your right Gossamer Gear is a great company. You know me I'm a Zpacks fanboy and I'm not giving up my ArcBlast but the price on the GG is a great price in my opinion. .. I had a Zpacks bag liner. I didn't keep anything on the outside that I much cared if it got wet or not.
Great video! Love the Kumo as it has been perfect for the summer months when the gear is cut down. Are you still using the Kumo or have you moved on to a new pack? Just subbed!
@@JaxxDrinkwater I still use my ArcHaul, but mainly for longer hike and or cooler months for winter gear. As a fellow content creator, there is a ton of AT hiking videos on my channel that might interest you. Would love to hear your feedback my friend! Cheers
its a pretty sweet pack for sure! ive been trying to find something to work for this allen pack frame i got.. so far nothing fits it right and im having trouble..i used my scout pack on i and it worked but not well..
i like them for the fact that they breath so much better.. i dont really carry that much.. but in the heat the more air you can get to flow the better and its more comfortable for me.. the allen frame i got on clearance for 20 its regular 60 so it was a cannot pass on thing but i want a pack for it.
That was a Jaxxolicious review.I just have one thing to say to myself, I don't need another pack I don't need another pack I don't need another pack I don't need another pack I don't need another pack
That is not the point and you know it Tony!! A man can't have too many packs. And tents. And guns. And knives. And tools made in the USA. And...........
No sir, You can check it out in action on this trip where it rained most of the time. ruclips.net/video/hsgJsMZ7KRE/видео.html and second part is here ruclips.net/video/X3BDFugA_Zk/видео.html
I didn't know how nice this pack actually was until I saw this review. You convinced me to go to GG's site to take a peek. Wouldn't you know they are SOLD OUT? Are you responsible for this? If so, kindly bring this pack to our next hike and HAND IT OVER!! 😜
Great review thank you and I know I'm new to your Channel but do you have any channel stickers that I could put on my sticker board and if you have any leftover gear that you don't use and want to get rid of let me know please
I'm beginning to think there is something wrong with my ears. Sometimes I hear song lyrics wrong. I stayed until the end of this video because near the beginning you said you were going to take a dump at the end of the video. All you did at the end was take stuff out of your backpack. Pretty huge disappointment. I went back and listened and you actually said a gear dump at the end. Wow, my bad.
You should ditch the terminology, and just go with scotdilicious. Lol. That’s a cool video and a bag of nuts. No kidding. (Excluding the butt wipes). Lol
I cant believe all of that fit in that pack.....the space is really organized well....very impressive.....thanks for a great video...!!!
Thanks for watching!

Nice job Jaxx. Looks like they made quite a few updates on this one.
I know right, I was wondering why they didn't let me review the newest one?

Jaxx you are my hero! Ha ha! I've literally put the Kumo in a cart 4 different times and just haven't bought it yet.
Send them a message and tell them you saw the video and see if they will give you a discount.. it can't hurt.
I'm getting it , it's on sale right now too
darn good rundown on this pack.
Thanks for reviewing this. We're looking to add another pack for our next Hawaii trip and our current one is pretty small in comparison to this one. (Looks like the pup gave up when no dog treats were gonna come out of that pack!)
This pack is a very lightweight option and you can really cram a lot of stuff in it despite it being 36 liters. The pup like to hog the camera.. haha

It's a nice looking pack, I like the detachable hip-belt idea, the shock cords on the sides would be good to hold walking poles in the pocket. :)
I agree about the shock cord on the outside, maybe even a tripod or something. All and all it's a solid pack . Thanks for taking a look at it.
Great video! Love the Kumo as it has been perfect for the summer months when the gear is cut down. Are you still using the Kumo or have you moved on to a new pack? Just subbed!
I still use the Kumo but I also use zpacks as well. I love them both.

I don't have any experience with that style pack, do you carry that much gear when you go out? The Allen frame is huge it looks like.
