    It's the parents. You have a child you didn't want, can't afford, don't give a shit about, so you lock them in a room with a cell phone and an xbox for 15 years and wonder why they can't behave or pay attention.

    People send their kids to a school and expect them to do well. It doesn't come from the school, it comes from the home. Rich black students at better scholls get annihilated by poor Asian students at much worse schools. It's just a cultural attitude, people are going to do well in what they are interested in. No one expects Asian kids to dominate sports. Why? Because they simply aren't interested in it. Look at the areas most African Americans are interested in, sports, music. They dominate in it because that's what so many of them are interested in.

    • @OGtruthserum
      @OGtruthserum 5 месяцев назад

      I don't think we are interested in school, but rather we have no choice. Who wouldn't want to play sport instead of studying? With that said, Asian would dominate if they only focused on sport. China has the most medals outside of the U.S for instance.

    It's hard to teach kids that comes from homes where their parents were high school dropouts and their parents were high school dropouts we must end that cycle we need more private schools that will recognize this and create a curriculum that is able to reach these students.

      These people don’t care. All these black leaders want to beg the government to do it instead of our own people gathering the resources and doing the work ourselves. We were never given a chance. This is all by design. All these years and all this money and ain’t nobody thought about doing nothing!? Not 1 school? This is a crime against black people. Our people fail in a system that was designed to crush us academically. If the system is failing our system it’s the system not our boys! Change the education system to better accommodate our ppl. Fix our communities. Put the families back together. It starts with us.

      @T.J. LAZER I would like to see A lifeskill class that will go into the statistics that face young black man in young black women Why shouldn't we have kids at 15 How did it affect me as a young black man how that affects me as a young black woman And how that affects my community What is the advantage of fanning school if it's just about getting a job I dropped out of high school at 16 because I believe that the answer to life was just getting a job and I was so wrong there's a difference between a job and a career in the only way to get a career Is with a education I would also like to see more counseling that can talk to the kids about those facts be that extra support in real life that they may not have I would like to see more black male role models one of the reasons why a young black man don't Inspire to choose careers because a lot of the people around them are not career oriented so they don't understand how education equals income Why because I don't know anybody who went far in education With the results Most young black people don't understand yearly income The difference between 8k per yr to 50 or 100k per yr or how to get that was one if the 1st thing that I told my grandson as he approached graduating high school I told him did you know the more educated you are the more money you can make and he said no he did not know that You don't even have to be a full year University But any kind of additional training or education can lead to higher income I would even mind a class or a counselor or someone talking to them about the difference between what a drug dealer makes and what A educated person makes Because we don't see that educated people in the hood they tend to move out which I don't blame them Too bigger and better Neighborhoods and we need to emphasize that we need to push that within these young black kids on a daily basis The key to getting out of the hood is with additional education or I did not go to 4 yearUniversity but I have been through management training so my field is in Management I was a late bloomer nobody told me these things I had to figure it out for myself but if I had someone there when I was making these major life decisions it might have came out better As well as counselors I think the kids need more counselor or someone to talk to but the problem with that is the counselor's Tend to take that as an opportunity to Villify the parents and go after the parents who are actually victims themselves If I have learned anything from white America this is what I have learned for whatever state that they found themselves in they brought in the programs to bring about change Some people think white folk just was burst out to be the people that they all know a lot of trial-and-error it's the same way with India China the Middle East who sent their kids to be educated in America and eroupe to come back to make their society better China properly went from being rice farmers to industrial powerhouse that was Deliberately done with purpose There's 2 solutions for black America one self government will we get the dictate what type of people we want to be 2 America get rid of hoods everywhere No more projects no more grouping up low income people all-in-one area If you cant afford to live in the major cities You might need to move somewhere else more affordable or cities should have more mixed income Housing For normal hoods should be illegal Check out the mouse utopia experiment On RUclips it's experiment basically about what would happen if you Group poor people up in Small area with limited resources Which also tells me that the hoods are Deliberate and by design

      Missionaries in Africa even today marvel at how they’ll build a well for an African village and show them how to maintain it, then leave for two months to build wells in other African villages.
      Whenever the white missionaries return, they find wells so completely destroyed they can’t fathom how so much damage could be done in so short a time.

    1) There's no reason to reject the hypothesis that different groups have different average IQ (general intelligence) due to genetics.
    2) There's no reason to reject the hypothesis that different groups have different temperaments due to both genetics and culture.

But, Asian parents ride their kids hard on academics and never make excuses. What does slavery have to do with parents not loving their kids enough to make reading and math fundamental in their homes? Why are the TVs and Madden not turned off during the day, so that time can be spent reading and doing homework. Make learning the important thing in the homes then the outcomes will change.
    Also, we need to stop blaming society and start looking in the mirror and realize any success will come from changed being made inside the homes. Need more two parent households in our communities.
    I have never seen a public school in our communities where the educators didn’t look like the students. Need more committed parents.

    How does the high rate of single parent households affect this achievement gap? Father absenteeism surely plays a role. What is being done to address this? I don't know how we can discuss this gap without discussing the cultures. It's proven that the first 5 years are critical. There needs to be ownership / accountability within the family / culture.
