Thanks to Winnie for helping me spell the title correctly!
Finally! A conductor that I could really follow!!
I've always loved this march and we Aussies also use it for our Anzac Day march every year. This is one of many great German marches. Warmest greetings from Australia.

Great Britain and Germany, two great empires who never should have been enemies. Respect from England.
Well you were friends until England stabbed their friends in the back.
Just beautiful music 🎶 from
Germany 🇩🇪💯👍🎶
This is exactly the way how a German march should be played. By the way, these guys are brilliant musicians too, of course.
Brilliantly performed but I especially love watching the conductor. He really enjoys taking his band through this wonderful march
I realize it is kinda randomly asking but does anyone know a good place to watch newly released movies online?
@Kenzo Kendrick i use Flixportal. Just google for it =)
@Kingston Mateo thank you, signed up and it seems like a nice service :D I appreciate it !!
@Kenzo Kendrick no problem :)
Quanti ricordi.
The best version I have heard brilliant
I was stationed in Berlin from 1960-1963 with Co F, 40th Armor. Used to march to this one and Berliner Luft at McNair Barracks. Used to get the infantry mad to be beat out marching by a bunch of tankers
Beautifully played. Lovely timing. The Kaiser would have loved it !
Marched to this stirring music many time when doing basic training in the Royal Navy, always played [ and played well] by a Royal Marines Band. German of course but just adopted it, like our troops in North Africa during world war two adopted Lille Marelene . So thank you Germany for some really rousing good music.
When the Tomy's came in North Afrika at 9.00 PM while Radio Belgrade played opening the Radio Program, the Germans stopped shooting. The Tomy's ask lauder Comrade. When it was done. the Tomy's said Thank you Comrade and moved back. From a German who's father got wounded in 2 world war in Moscow
So nice. Amazing performance
Magnífica interpretación, un clásico maravilloso .

A wonderful performance! This has the capacity to encourage us as we all try to cope with the global pandemic and the many other issues going on in our lives. Well done band members! May God bless you all!

Alte Kameraden (Old Comrades) is a popular German military march composed around 1889 by Carl Teike.

OK. ¡ THE MOST BEAUTIFULL MARCH. ! YES YES.
This keeps the German military music tradition high, just like Major Hans Friess and the Musikkorps der 11. Panzergrenadier-Division did in the 1960s. Nice!

Sehr schön, danke. Gruss aus der Schweiz👍
We are all kameraden - and it scares the top brass that we should ever recognise this.
Excellent rendition!
Very Good😀😀😀
Excellent rendition!! I marched to this tune years ago in military service. I hope the clarinettist's cold did not lead to a more serious condition.
(Y) (Y) ... (Y)
Pure German band music!
Ezt igy nem láttam még levezényelni. Bravo bravo !!!!

richard connelly great*
this march is german through and through but i have played it many times with our brass band in the uk....... brilliant march
Old comrades on the march through the country
Holding a friendship faithful and true.
Whether in need or in great danger
Always together they hold all anew .
During an attack, we will them give blow for blow,
Glory and honor will bring us victory,
Come, comrades, fresh and supplied,
This is our marching music.
During manoevers, the whole regiment
Took quarters in the nearest village house out there.
And we were flirting at our lodgings,
With all the girls and the landlord's daughter.
Laughing joking, laughing joking, today yes today
Unknown tomorrow is the whole regiment's fate and it's fortune
That, comrades, is the warrior's bitter lot
So take the glass in hand and say "Cheers".
Old Wine gives courage and strength,
In which lies the true lifeblood.
And this old heart does stay young
with all the powerful memories.
Whether in joy, whether in need,
We'll remain faithful unto death.
Drink from one and give some more
And let's be all, old comrades.
Even if we're old, the heart does stay young,
Let's all revel in the memories.
Drink up and pour a round
And let's be all, old comrades.
che musiche i tedeschi!!!!! evviva la Germania
If you play such a famous march - please play it complete! I missed the repetition of the last 2 parts!
Wonderful rendition, even though it always reminds me of 'The Goon Show'

No, the march was written around 1889.
Oberschlesischen
Carl Teike, a Pole, wrote this delightful march.
