Well, whether the song sounds good does not depend solely on the lyrics, it depends above all on the production and composition, and if the lyrics are well written it is already a good addition.
Looking at Twice's overall song catalog, the A&R team really got Twice's sound dialed in so I'd imagine just getting a song accepted is difficult as is. They've stated in the past that they write lyrics all the time when they're asked but it doesn't always get picked.
Dahyun is my favorite lyricist and to write You Got ME to not only complete the album but to complete the song I Got You is special, it let us ONCE's be part of that song. The two best songs on this album. OT9 forever (TIMELESS).
