i love Jihyo's look in this mv she's so pretty . i was hyped by the first 45 secondes of the songs but after multiple listen this song is just ok . some b-side are better to me . as alway's they're mv 's are super cool and as alway's i love the choreo.

And i get it, maybe because this one is really for us market (more internasionally) and i thinking like that too but i still like the song, it's because the girls look so incredible, the choreo, the vocal🔥and the song catchy too, but the other song on this album i like it so much👌🏻
As a group matures they want to evolve, and some of the fans who fell in love with their first sound will not be happy with change. It's been happening since at least the Beatles, if not before. I bet the first cave musician to bang a stick on a rock lost some fans when she got bored and started banging it on a tree instead. Change is inevitable and fans just have to accept that they aren't the only ones who get define what Twice is. I think it's very deliberate that they are saying they want to be set free and this is one part of it. They are artists, and they want to be free to evolve their forms of expression. Edit: and I think this is still very much in Twice's wheelhouse. I question if these fans have ever heard their Japanese tracks or Get Loud or Rainbow or Shot Clock.

Maybe Momo in the theatre reminded you of Under The Skin bc she's sitting there observing? and the shot of Chaeyoung right after is almost entirely engulfed in darkness, so there's that as well? The lyrics on the MV are actually the lyrics of the English version, instead of the translation of the actual Korean lyrics. It's a similar theme but the lyrics *are* different so idk why they do that sometimes (they've done it w ITZY as well) but i hope it stops lmao
