Sounds like how my gayness and my serious belief of Catholicism meant I couldn’t honestly confess (because I didn’t regret it) and ultimately led me out of the church.
What a blessing the sacrament of confession is. So many times I have been deeply mired in a rut and, having dragged my sorry self into confession, an immense weight has lifted off my shoulders and I am given the strength to continue anew. I remember my first time at confession after a long period of misbehaving where I simply didn’t go to confession for my ever-increasing heap of sins (Lord have mercy on me) -and unlike Skinner, I had been receiving communion which increased the severity of it all. The priest rejoiced with me saying it was a victory for the angels in Heaven that I had come to confession and desired to repent. I love my faith, it os my rock, my guide and my hope.
@@FireflyOnTheMoon All we see from this anecdote is that church helps this person. Assuming they're not passing judgement on others, they're welcome to finding that comfort.
You should care deeply with regards to how dogma makes, otherwise lovely and intelligent, people think and behave like idiots, open a newspaper or history book and see what I mean.
It's not adultery in the Catholic church unless he is still married. If you're an old schooler then you can only be married once but I doubt even the pope thinks that way.

That's very sad❤
Well done.
Freedom.
Catholicism is deeply based in human understanding of right and wrong. That it why it is true and so attacked.
not sure a mate would trot out a private story for laughs and a weak anecdote
hi frank
Catholic and WBA? Must have a thick skin.
Good to see Richard A not being his usual horribly glib self. I wish I hesrd him talk about his Catholic upbringing.
Stop picking at it🤢
When does the intelligence start? 🤔
norm macdonald also chose to believe in God but I'm really not keen on comedians being on these channels. their egos are large enough.
where's baddiel's wedding ring?
It's none of your business.
@@martinogold That's up to him to decide, not you.
@@martinogold😂 unbelievable what people notice 😂 and why would you be bothered

Big deal! Not sure Skinner will be too pleased...
Nobody cares, hardly the raconteur..

@@claudiaxander he didn't behave like an idiot and what an utterly nasty thing to say.
