Aw man, I was hoping he'd keep Sea of Sorrow in rotation...
@@FrankCompton Thanks for sharing the entire show! It must have been f*cking great to see them live! :)
Awesome!!! Thank you for uploading--very excited, I see Jerry in concert 4/21 here in Dallas, and CANNOT WAIT! ❤❤❤
Love Jerry Cantrell - with/without Chains
You Rock Jerry!! 🤘🤘
Greg sounds great on the AIC songs. 🤘
Saw the 2nd show of the tour in Chicago ..... f'n amazing .. Greg sounds great and the whole thing just recaptured a bit of magic.
It helps of course that Jerry's new record 'Brighten' is incredibly strong. I was more excited to hear those songs than anything else, including AiC. Jerry's best solo record imo, he's just has an uncanny ability to write amazing classic rock songs infused with just enough menace at times. But this is the kind of record that would have been all over FM radio 30 years ago
For me I like the new one but Boggy Depot & Degradation Trip are my favorites especially since they re-formatted the Degradation Trip to include songs that wasn’t on the original release.😉👍
For a hardcore AIC fan in Greece, this is treasure! Thanks a lot!
Most welcome!! Glad ya enjoyed it!!🤘😁
Omg this set list slays
Chains
Boggy
Degradation
Brighten
I can still believe in Rock & Roll as long as Jerry is making music.
OMG. He has the D-Trip Les Paul on tour with him! (Used on Check My Brain)That's easily my favorite guitar.
Excellent show.Very impressive.Very moving.Greg did a great job in a difficult role.
Greg on Down In A Hole!!!???!!! crazy good.
Wow what an absolutely amazing and crushing setlist. So good.
He’s got 2 former members of Dillinger Escape Plan in his band. Sweet!
Which ones are from DEP?
@@Jimmyjames738 Singer Greg and is that bass player Liam Wilson?
@@doomzillah
Looks like Gil Sharone on drums.
Would love to see Jerry live! Absolutely beautiful!!
Amazing that man is perfect! Makes me happy to see him out there!
He’s terrible Alice In Chains was the worst
@@lorenmeans4463 Then why were you here?
@@karlak9703 because RUclips has terrible algorithms lol AIC IS GAAAAY
@@karlak9703 for real kick rocks lol smh
Amazing concert!!! My favorite show of 2022. I was drunk as hell singing every song. First time seeing Jerry live. I was born in 1992 so missed AIC in their prime
I loved that show at the Majestic! Even "all the way in the back," I was only about 40 feet from the stage! I like St. Andrews Hall, but it was like Divine Intervention having it moved to the Majestic due to all of those kids causing structural damage to the floor about a week or so before the show!
The concert was amazing! I love small venues, best concert i have ever been to. After the concert i thought all the band members went out the back but i could swear i saw Michael Rozon out front smoking a cigar.
I was eating next to him in a restaurant next to my show in Boston 3/17/23
Great show, drove 3 hours after work to the concert 🤘
Thank you for uploading the entire show-it was great!!! I am so bummed that I couldn’t go. Awesome job filming 👍
Ya are welcome.. I do most every show I can in uploads so others can experience the concert! I’m getting up in years and can’t hold up my phone for that long anymore so my son shot it..😉🤙
Rolf . I love how at the start Greg is really subdued and by the encore he's gone full DEP.
What a great set list! Greg is awesome with Jerry. Thanks for uploading 🤘
Normally I don't watch these crowd-filmed shows, but this was pretty killer.
Thanks bud. All credit goes to my oldest son on filming it.🤘😁
Great to hear psychotic break - it would have definitely ended up as an AIC tune.
@@petra2885 yeh def sounds closer to AIC than boggy depot which did in parts but explored a lot of other ground too.
gotta agree mate - Brighten should have taken even more chances - it was a bit safer than I was expecting@@petra2885
Jerry, Tyler, and Gil are awesome combination in a band.
Man u beat me to it. They sound great and seem to have a real tangible chemistry
Thx for putting the whole show up Dude 💯☮️🤘🤘🤘
Not a problem! Glad you enjoyed it!!🤘😁
I was unable to attend this tour, due to life circumstances, so have been watching every live performance of the Brighten Tour that is online. This SHOw, FREAKING ROCKS!!!!! One of the best!!!
Thanks bud!! Glad you enjoyed it!!🤘😁
CANNOT Wait!!!! May 2nd will be seeing this master perform at the Moore theater in Seattle.
Man I cannot wait....one more month! Sounds amazing.
Actually I thought it was somewhat muddled.. soundboard guy was fucking shit up all night. As the show began Jerry had barely any vocals coming through the mic then he motions to turn it up and it got better. But that place is a concrete tombstone. Echo was horrible! Great show though.🤘😉👍
You going to Rockville?
@@billydamnit Not sure if that question was directed at me or the original commenter? But if me I’m not attending a Rockville show.
Yes Psychotic Break!
🤘😝🤘😜👍
Hell yea!!
I heard that and was like OH SHIT! That album was released after Staley passed and the song is pretty much what all their fans and friends were feeling. I knew a lot of people who were rwally fked up about that and I told them about this ablum and this song specifically and its is cathartic. Play this with some "Anger Rising" and your gonna feel better my friends! Also if you havent seen it, Jerry has some live concert footage from Charlotte, NC I think from the tour he did with Degradation Trip. If you havent seen it, I urge you to. This is after Staley passed and obviously he is fked out of his mind but he KILLS it live and you get to see a younger William Duval play along with Jerry and he was awesome then too. Rock on and be safe!
Oh hes got the hst on does he not look so damn sharp in that ir what? Damn mister you never cease to amaze me. ❤ LaneyBaby♡ thank you for sharing your beautiful gift craft and artistry. You are my riff god lord and you. ❤

Jerry for president
seeing him tonight in NYC, can't f'n wait !!!
Thanks for sharing this experience with us!
Most welcome! Glad ya enjoyed the show!!🤘😁
Only song lacking from his set lists is the cable guy track "leave me alone". Needs to be added to the rotation
Yeah that would have been a nice throw in tune!!🤘😝
Setting Sun!
Thank you very much! I enjoyed a lot! From South Korea.
Glad you enjoyed it!! Keep on Rocking!🤘😉
Very nice. If you had told me Jerry would still be around performing this music at this high of quality I wouldnt have believed you. I dont mean that in a negative way, I just mean when Layne died I never thought youd hear this music done so well ever again. Great job, id totally go see Jerry solo band here over the current AIC. Plus Jerry still plays them G&L guitars ;-)
Glass you enjoyed the show!!🤘😁
Great show n I love this kid he's great with Jerry ☮️❤️🎼

My phones been fine all morning! Awesome AND KILLER NATIONAL ANTHUM I MISSED CAUGHT IY THIS MORNNG BADASS! BADASS! BADASS! Someone's working overtime.❤🎉

Such a fantastic show!!
Atone 🖤
Was at the Toronto show fucken amazing
OMG!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH JERRY!! THAT'S WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT, JERRY CANTRELLS SHOW!!
It's funny because I complain when I wach another video that Jerry play 90% of the gig was AIC songs, but this one I was looking to see... thanks 🤘
So glad you enjoyed the show!!🤘😁👍
It seems like so many people only record and upload the AIC songs. This one is so great because the quality is the best and it’s one of the very few (2?) uploads of the entire show.
Thanks for sharing this show was aesome
Sharing is caring bud. My son shot it for me. At going on 60 I’m not able to hold a camera all night!😏😆 glad ya enjoyed it!👍
Yes, Greg a trip to Tyler Top Notch took me a bit but now when see him and the meister talking in terviews they crack me up as neighbors and the cosmics landing them together as neighbors. Was the drummer in Brighten vid did he do a tour with Paul McCartney? Or did the album with him or both? Thank you to every band member and etybody who keeps Jerry 100 and his team a job to do and a job well do e!! Thank you. If hiring oh no my position wouldn't be on any resume. Wow, his screams don't sound like Layne but they eir not supposed to. Greg do you get a sore throat? Excellent well oilèd machine Jerrys Kids Band and Alice In Ch ains. 26:22 man how i love this riff
Is this the theater where Chris Cornell had his final concert? :-( Gosh the picture on this is amazing! Thanks for uploading!
Chris's final solo performance was April 22, 2017 at CBS This Morning studio.
His final Soundgarden performance was May 17, 2017 in Detroit, Michigan at Fox Theatre.
This venue is about a mile and a half north of the Fox Theater on the same street where Chris Cornell played his final gig, but originally this show was supposed to be played at a different venue in Detroit, but was moved due to structural damage. And, yes, it was a great show in a really, really intimate venue. I was standing on the other side near the back, but was only about maybe 30 feet from the stage, so it was a really small place.
Awesome, can't wait to see him in Vegas next month!
You’re about to experience some killer jams!! Glad ya enjoyed the video..🤘😁

Happy New Year LaneyBabyz ❤
I bought tickets to a Jerry Cantrell concert for my fifteenth birthday, and I’m real excited. But do you think it’s weird that I just became an AIC and Jerry Cantrell fan, and I’m already going to see him? For example, in this concert there are like 4 songs I’m not familiar with 😭
I think it's great. Most fifteen years old kids don't have a clue about great music.
Go see these legends and remember it forever.
My first concert was on my fifteenth birthday also.
October 30 1980 I saw Van Halen live in Macon GA. My friends bought my ticket. 10 bucks.
@@butchcassidy3373 wow what a great time to live in 1980.
@@miajc6606 It was a great time in the 80’s to grow up! I’m a 60’s born guy and I’ll tell ya Rocking through the 70’s 80’s & 90’s was killer!! My 1st concerts was a double header both weekend shows! Black Sabbath Never Say Die tour.. then the following weekend was KISS (All Originals) with Cheap Trick opening off the Budokan album tour man that was 2 weekends I’ll never forget!! Then again tickets were like $12 with .50 service charge!! Had another double weekend in 81 with Joe Perry Project opening for Alice Cooper and The Fools opening the following weekend for Van Halen on Fair Warning tour!!!🤘😜👍
I don’t think it’s weird at all-these songs just grab you and don’t let go! When I heard that Jerry was recording a new solo album, I dug out all of my old AIC and JC (and Mad Season) cds-I haven’t listened to anything else since 🤣
I didn’t even know about Rainier Fog or TDPDH so it was so exciting to discover two more albums worth of “new” songs in addition to Brighten!! I hope you have a great time at the concert. Happy Birthday and welcome to the club 👍
The concert was yesterday, and it was f-ing amazing. 😎🤩 They played some great classic AIC songs like Sea of Sorrow, No Excuses, Got Me Wrong, Check My Brain and Man in the Box. Some of Jerry’s songs on the set list were Psychotic Break, My Song, Between, Brighten, Had to Know, and Angel Eyes. So yeah, I really enjoyed it :D
Hearing the old aic songs makes me want to cry
I just made the mistake of listening to Man in The Box, and did just that. Nobody will ever be as good as Layne. Ugh. I have to stop torturing myself. 😭
Yeah brings back memories for me too.. I had seen the originals back in the day a couple times..😏
Greg is actually very good, he fits perfectly
Jerry with his sig guitar... RRHOF someday
Aye yo !!
🖤❤️I can die now
Senti falta do William Duval, mas tá de boa
This is why I didn’t buy a ticket to this tour it’s Jerry Cantrell and a covers band doing Alice in chains songs and his other solo songs I want to see Jerry Cantrell solo by himself. If I want to see Jerry Cantrell doing Alice in chains songs I want to see him doing it with Kenny and Inez also.
When I first heard about this tour I was hoping it would just be Jerry Cantrell by himself doing a solo tour doing acoustic and electric sets kind of like when Neil Young goes on solo tour.
I’m surprised they are doing so many Alice songs. I would think that the people who bought tickets to see Jerry Cantrell, would not really expect to hear Alice songs…? I love AIC songs but he certainly has enough of his own (great) tunes to play!!!
How would that work? Jerry can’t run from instrument to instrument if he played drums and other stuff?? But I get cha on the cover songs; you have to also consider that he wrote most of AIC songs so they are as much his as AIC songs he’s the composer of most of that body of work! Now I’d like to have seen the boys of old backing him but it wasn’t at this show. Try the concert with Alice In Chains & Breaking Benji at Pinr Knob this summer maybe that’ll float your boat?? I just had my son shoot it as I had gotten tix. It was nice just to hear live music again after the plandemic we just got through..✌️
@@FrankCompton I think you missed the point of my comment this is my own personal reason why I didn’t go to this tour I was hoping for a solo show it’s just one person. I don’t know if you ever been to a concert like that but I’ve seen Neil Young Billy Corgan Sully Erna Eddie Vedder and Bruce Springsteen where they have an acoustic guitar, electric guitar, piano and or organ and depending on the song they’re doing they just use one instrument and sing the lyrics if you ever get a chance to see one of your favorite musicians it’s a really amazing show to see because you don’t have the other musicians muddying up the sound it’s the closest you can get to an actual musician in the songwriting process. It’s not normally done by most musicians because it scares them because they don’t have a backing band to cover mistakes they might make so it’s a pretty rare event when it happens. And sometimes they tell stories in between the songs which is may be the most interesting part of those types of shows.
@@Tom-yy4mx Oh your correct, I missed the point. And yes over my years I’ve seen a few like that; intimate evenings with certain folk. I done Zakk Wylde like that on an acoustic show at a Hard Rock venue and it was cool! But considering most of AIC and Jerry’s solo material is electric I wouldn’t have wanted a set of him just with acoustic guitar. To be truthful when people were talking during Zakk you couldn’t hear him real good (just because they were rude) in talking while he preformed. And I’m that guy that would say “shit the F up” my wife was with me at that particular event and had her head buried through part of it from me hushing people!! Lol😂 but I get cha now bud all’s good.. I will also add the soundboard guy that night should have been fired he done a shitty job on mixing the show; I bitched all night for not being able to hear when they were talking or singing for that matter!! Gotta have good sound techs!! If you scroll my videos you’ll hear a definite difference on sound quality!! My Helmet show we had front row and that’s a phenomenal concert!!! Thanks for the comment..🤘😉👍
@@FrankCompton Completely agree I can’t stand it when people are talking during shows, especially with the lower volume type shows, why would you wanna pay all that money to go to a show than talk about nonsense the whole show. also the people that yell out songs the entire show I like it that Jerry’s like we’re just gonna play the songs on the list, like 99% of all musicians do anyway. Thanks for posting the video, great video quality, I record most of the shows I go to but only the audio because it’s pretty hard to sneak stuff in. I use a Zoom H2n recorder I just put it in my shirt pocket. The sound quality is really amazing for how small the devices is so if the room sounds good the recording is gonna sound good and it’s a huge improvement over the old zoom H2 recorder. Thanks Again and keep posting!
❤❤❤
Holy Crap dudes closest to Layne as anyone has ever come.
It would have even been better if they were mic’d properly!! I was frustrated from the soundboard guy he didn’t know shit about mixing. But glad ya enjoyed it.🤘😉
Wow Greg did a great job on this one, im impressed
to many a.i.c songs,we want jerry songs! more songs from boggy depo and degradation trip 1&2!

Wasn’t this the same theatre where Chris Cornell’s last show also took place
CC’s last performance was the Fox Theater in Detroit.
That was the Fox Theater.
Great stuff…should try to squeeze in another few songs. 2 hour set is fair I think. Don’t PJ do 3 hour sets?
Yeah it could have been a bit longer but an hour 40 minutes ain’t bad. But he has the material to go way longer and yes Pearl Jam does do two hour plus shows. I’ve seen them back in the day at almost 3 hours.
Yes 2hour festival shows and three hour stadium arena shows
That intro.... he's been too some heilung shows......
I was waiting for Jerry’s solo tour for years but I have to say, looking to the setlist I’m a bit disappointed… half of the setlist are AiC songs… with 3 solo albums (and all 3 are genius) there’s enough material for a show and have 1-2 AiC songs as a addition. Not to mention that even Anger Rising is missing
I agree to an extent on the comment. While I also love the solo material and own it all; you have to remember Jerry wrote most of the songs for AIC and if he wrote the material he chooses what he wants to play. I’m sure every concert has a different line up of songs.😉👍
I agree! Even though most of the AIC songs are really Jerry’s songs too (and I love them) a solo Jerry tour is the only time we would get a chance to hear the (great!!!) songs from his solo albums. Maybe they wouldn’t be able to fill the venues if they don’t play AIC songs? The crowds do seem to get really fired up when they play the AIC songs.
Anyway, just wanted to chime in because I also absolutely love his solo work.
@@FrankCompton I come back to watch at least parts of your video often 😄. It’s still the best one!!!

I mean really think about it Jerry..I had another point for yhe plus side for you and Duff and here it is- you don't want to do it when you're any older then we are now myself unfortunately included in that mess we'll Im a year younger then you or two ir so.am I right? You two ARE the only two in the running. Honest engine I've given it long dnd hard thought we need to leave ****scratch that we need to leave the generations coming up now true authenticity on who we were what we represented how we did it and why ect. No one else would or could do it justice. Please just think about it atleast. I just worry about it is all and Layne will be included in the way you all see fit his huge huggge part in this wild ass thing we call rock and roll grunge if you must but I loathe that word. To use duff now. I'm shrugging my shoulders and leaving by saying. I don't know~ I off to hear that now. I'm done come on guys pretty please with sugar ontop? We're not getting any younger. I'd like to watch it myself. Ya never know. Just sayin. Wub u 2 ❤ LaneyBaby
Jerry’s gotta go over his hat every time he switches guitars.
😂👍
No Anger rising?
I know I thought the same thing..?🤔😏
Or Pig Charmer (he probably never wants to revisit that one)! or Dickeye…I would love to see them play nearly every song on DT 1 & 2.
I saw him in Saint Paul and mostly similar set list, but he switched out some songs. I bet he doesn't want to play the same songs night in and out. Especially when he has 200+ songs to choose from.
@@darthuncle This is something I actually “hate” on JC abs AiC, setlist is pretty much the same during whole tour 😓. I’d love to See more from DT, mainly after his 2 solo shows 2 years ago. Anyway, I’d love to experience What you guys did / will, seeing him live on this brighten tour. Cheers!!
@@Duds.811 I saw AiC back to back nights on the Rainier Fog tour. Both sets exactly the same. AiC is my all time favorite band so I felt blessed to see them at all.
