Notice the contrariness to Paul's letter: -Old men are to be serious, sensible and sound in their trust. -Old women are to be leading holy lives, not slanderers or slaves to excessive drinking. -Younger women are taught to be loving to their husbands and children, self-controlled and pure. -Younger men are to be self-controlled and are to be examples by doing what is good. What does the world depict these people to be? Old men are to strive to be like children in the bad ways, with their foolishness Older women are always depicted as slaves to wine and slanderers. Younger women/younger men are all taught to do whatever in their youth, sleeping around and to "do whatever is fun". Notice how these things of the flesh have entered your life, with integrity and seriousness, be wholesome! Be so wholesome that the enemy has nothing bad to say! For by God's grace brings deliverence, for a seed cannot grow into a righteous tree unless it first dies to being a seed. Also seed can't grow from water and being planted alone, you can do those things and it still won't grow for various reasons, one's controlled by God! We can repent, turning from our old life and ask for forgiveness and lay your trust on Him but God is what makes it grow, by The Spirit of The Holy One, we can know that God freed us from all violation of the Law and enables us to eagerly do good! This is our new life, not one pointless but one that never ends! One that we can live here with the eternal hope that this is temporary and we should be doing things that grow and fuel that which is eternal; God and alone we can't do so but by God's grace we can do all things! My dear family, by God's grace I urge you (along with me) to renounce godlessness, worldly pleasures, and to live self controled, upright and godly lives NOW, in this age! Not living as people who are trying to be godly themselves but in reality don't know God but as people who do know God and trust that we will be delivered on The Day of Deliverence by God's grace, Yeshua The Anointed One (or Jesus Christ) and what He did, for us, for His name sake (which is for us too) and to destroy the works of wickedness among us (which is also for us) By Him alone! Hold fast to The Gospel! Just wanted to share a few thoughts I feel are in connection in The Holy Spirit, correct me if you see anything wrong with what I have said and if you find nothing, then why aren't you doing it? With love, I pray the joy and peace of our eternal hope (which isn't really eternal because it will be fulfilled in God's time) will lay in all of us through The Holy Spirit.
A life dedicated to serving God, is a life where you perfect your selft in order to be part of God's familiy, an honor we did not deserve but rejoice greatly in :)
My faith is lacking and sometimes after listening to word of God I get mad at my family for they are not fighting the good fight. (It's complicated) I am working on it but it is though.
