This is a good warm up tournament but once they figure out why this game is so great, they need to do the tournament again! They're missing so much of whats in the game!

Man…I’m on the edge of my seat waiting to see who the first one to discover the R2 button is. Turbo in this game was basically insta-roids lmao. That’s why there haven’t been homers yet. On fire batter + turbo swing is pretty much a guaranteed bomb.
Also part of me is REALLY sad they didn’t let them do cheats. Watching the boys chaotically smash buttons while loading in and hope for good cheats only to load into game with dolphin heads or whatever would be good. (The load-in cheats weren’t just in SF: Reloaded were they? I played that more than SF: Loaded as a kid so might be conflating the two)

Even when this was recorded Westin Wilson was not the last Phillie to hit for the cycle: JT Realmuto did last year.

If I had a nickel for every time Shelfy mentioned the fact that David Bell was the last Phillie to hit for the cycle (even thought Realmuto did it last year) before Weston Wilson did it, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice

@WdawgSmith david bell was the last phillie to do it in the citizen bank park (phillies home stadium). It's not a triple friendly stadium. JT did it in Arizona
Use turbo!!! I also think you can punch on the way into home to knock the ball loose. I vaguely remember just stealing home and punching the ball loose if I had a guy on fire on third.
