Soler & Palau TD-350/125 Silent with and w/o silencer.
In this noise-level test we will demonstrate the difference in sound pressure level of the fan by running it with and without silencers.
The first shown value is the soundlevel in status OFF just to show you that the sound of a very quiet room is somewhere around 30 decibel.

The camera with the microphone is 2m away from the fan so the recorded sound will give you a good impression too.
So if you dont trust the measuring device, just trust your ears.

Bei diesem Lüftertest demonstrieren wir anhand eines Lautstärke-Meßgeräts den Unterschied im Schalldruckpegel bei Betrieb mit und ohne Schalldämpfern.
Der erste eingeblendete Wert ist im ausgeschalteten Zustand gemessen um zu veranschaulichen das sich der Geräuschpegel im vollkommen ruhigen Raum bereits bei 30 Dezibel einpendelt.

Die Kamera mit dem Mikrofon steht 2m entfernt von dem Lüfter sodass auch der aufgenommene Sound einen guten Eindruck über die Unterschiede vermittelt.
Also wenn du den Werten auf dem Messgerät nicht traust, vertrau einfach deinen Ohren.

You should test the sound level outside other side of silencer not covered end of motor.
to be fair you would need to test w two non insulated pipes vs the muffler pipes!

There's one of these in my apartment and it's supposed to help cool the place but it pushes barely any air, I'm just trying to figure out if I can somehow turn the speed up on it.
Did you ever figure this out? I am planing to get one myself for air circulation

Naja.. Dafür das der Hersteller flüsterleise mit 18 Dezibel angibt, ist das Ding sekbst mit zwei schalldämpfer noch extrem laut.. Ein billiges Gerät für 150€ weniger tuts genauso wenn man den schalldämpfer und den schallgedämmten flexschlauch dazu nimmt wie man hier ja auch braucht.. Alles in allem ist das eine große verarsche und die Bewertungen mit Sicherheit gekauft..
18 dezibel gilt aus 3m entfernung. verglichen mit nem prima klima der 300m3/pustet sind die s&p:s wirklich leise. am lautestin sind sie sowieso an den stellen wo luft rein/rausgesogen wird. also immer schön die schlauchenden möglichs in weit weg.
@@jamesfindice2871 wie ist er im Vergleich zum 4" Spider Farmer EC Motor oder S4 / T4 AC Infinity? Die drei genannten sollen in etwa gleich laut sein. Wie schlägt sich da der 250/100 von S&P?
@@limebulls kann ich leider nichts dazu sagen, also zum Vergleich. Ich kann super im gleichen kleinen Zimmer schlafen. Das würde mit normalen Geräten nimmer gehen
