- FAISALABAD PAKISTAN WALKING TOUR, FAISALABAD CITY WALK, 4K, BUSY BAZAARS NEAR CLOCK TOWER, فیصل آباد The city is also known as the “Manchester of Pakistan” in reference to its booming textile industry, which is quite similar to Manchester's. Another title given to Faisalabad is “City of Textiles,” for similar reasons.
Why is Faisalabad famous?
Image result for faisalabad
The reason Faisalabad is called Manchester of Pakistan because it's the biggest textile city of Pakistan and all the industries here related to textiles and same is Manchester in UK so these cities are also named as Twin cities. After Lahore, Faisalabad is famous for its food. ... It's one of the favorite foods here.
When was Faisalabad built?
When founded in 1890, it was named for Sir Charles James Lyall, lieutenant governor of the Punjab. It became headquarters of the Lower Chenab colony and in 1898 was incorporated as a municipality.
Faisalabad (Punjabi and Urdu: فیصل آباد, Urdu pronunciation: [/fɑːɪsˈlɑˌbɑːd//] (audio speaker iconlisten); English: /fɑːɪsɑːlˌbɑːd/), formerly known as Lyallpur named after the founder of the city is the third-most-populous city in Pakistan after Karachi and Lahore respectively, and the second-largest in the eastern province of Punjab. Historically one of the first planned cities within British India, it has long since developed into a cosmopolitan metropolis. Faisalabad was restructured into city district status; a devolution promulgated by the 2001 local government ordinance (LGO). The total area of Faisalabad District is 5,856 km2 (2,261 sq mi)[6] while the area controlled by the Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) is 1,280 km2 (490 sq mi).[7][8]: 8 Faisalabad has grown to become a major industrial and distribution centre because of its central location in the region and connecting roads, rails, and air transportation.[9] It has been referred to as the "Manchester of Pakistan".[10][11] As of 2013, GDP (PPP) of Faisalabad was estimated as $43 billion[5] and projected to rise to $87 billion in 2025 at a growth rate of 5.7%.[12] Faisalabad contributes over 10 percent to the Punjab's GDP and has an average annual GDP (nominal) of $20.5 billion.[5] Agriculture and industry remain its hallmark

Thank you so much for watching :). Could you guys help me please? If you see an area in my videos from Pakistan that you recognize - let's say RAJA BAZAR - or any other area, would you please let me know the time in the video the location is showing please? For example let me know - Raja Bazar is from minute 3:50 to minute 5:40. I will make a TIME STAMP on my video for people to find the area they want to watch more easily. I'd like to do it on all my Pakistani videos, but it's impossible for me to know where I am at what moment during my videos because I'm not a local and I don't know the city. Thank you so much! I appreciate it!

Thank you so much for showing around my city, I have recognised a few people from my village in the video. Jhang bazar didn't change at all in 30 years. I was there 2 years ago couldn't even walk through the Jhang bazar; it was so crowded, but still, I miss my city.
Thank you for watching :)
Dear jhang bazar will not change even after 100 years. 😜😜😜😜
@Muhammad Ahmed unfortunately pakistani doesn’t want to change, where people throw flowers on criminals, they can't differentiate good and bad, in their eyes corruptions is no issue and acceptable no moral responsibility. People are ready to sell them self for penny's. They think Pakistan belongs to Noora and Zardari families, and they act like they are their slaves. Those who don't want to change themselves Allah don't change them. 🙏
Don't forget to always ask everything only to Allah, shalat five times a day and read Ayat kursi hundred times every after shalat (west kiblatain any country you go))then mentioned what you ask for to Allah Insya Allah will get what you want as long as it's a good will.amin, never leave shalat even one time your Qur'an will always calling you.
Best quality video. Too colorful. Thanks.

British girl in Faisalabad! I am sure you know the old name of this city is Lyallpur, named after some British bloke during colonialism. Also the central bazaar is designed after Manchester I think, like the Union Jack 🇬🇧. Enjoy your trip stay away from raw foods as deep frying will kill anything. Cheers.

I'm convinced that if you want to take the pulse of a people, you should take if from the people and not their government representatives. I'm quite impressed with the colors here: the food, the clothing, the people. The vibrancy here is so similar to what you see in markets in other developing countries such as Ghana, and other Africn countries.

So sad seeing all the cats in small cages without water and food. It literally broke my heart!!
Mine too😢 For birds it’s already cruel to hold them in such small cages, but for the cats it’s just impossible. I wish I could free them all. I hope they will be adopted soon into a good family and freed from the cages.
