- Day 2 of the 2022 SEMA Show started at Quadratec where we went to see their awesome JTe Truck that they call, 50 for 50 as it's made out of a Wrangler 4Xe. From there, we headed over to Rock Jock to see all the new stuff they had including, an award winning adjustable bump stop extension. We also stopped over at Thor's Lightning to see their tire air down and inflation system. Last but not least, we checked out a very cool drawer system for a JL made by MORryde.

The two door version of the JT looks amazing. When I first saw concepts of the JT, I thought they would be releasing both a four and a two door option. I really hope they add this two door options in the near future!

They're paying attention. There simply isn't enough demand for them and that's a bummer.
Jeep so needs to take a close look at that Quadratech build and reproduce it commercially as a model (scrambler perhaps?) Well done Quadratech!

Eddie/Cindy, I am glad I'm not the only guy that likes to geek out to Rob from Quadratec doing installs. Between watching that dude and you install various pieces of kit to your Jeep(s), most of which I know I will never get or even want, I watch anyway because you just make it so darn interesting. Very awesome coverage of SEMA and thank you for showing us some of the vendor booths. I am looking at RinseKit and Thors Lightning, both of which I've never heard of before you highlighted them on your tour. Please keep up the great videos for those of us who cannot make it to SEMA. I am with the Army in South Korea and right now, my attention is focused on KJU shooting missiles into the ocean...

I have a Thor's Lightning air compressor on order (backordered until mid-November). I knew they were a new company here in CO so I'm glad to see them there at SEMA. I hope they continue to grow.

Aloha Eddie. This is a very unique creation by Quadratec in creating this two-door Jeep Gladiator with a 6-ft bed. I wish Jeep would provide this option for the JT with a 5-ft and/or 6-ft bed including the 2-door and/or 4-door too. I love this single cab Jeep if only jeep would build this with a 5.7 hemi and i would gladly buy it and the door plastic storage panel plz make that . I would love to buy one and you guys should make it in different colors.
Sadly, not only will it never happen, the HEMI as a whole will cease to exist after next year.
@@wayalife I've seen a video that said 392 Hemi will stay in production into 2024 to go into the Rubicon 392 , when the JL Wrangler is to get a refreshing.

Builds a single cab utility vehicle with tray to carry stuff, yay finally someone has seen the light, fills tray with spare tyre because no thought went into where to actually carry it. SEMA build when failure is the only option!

1. Rob and his adorbs little min Gladiator are fuckin awesome. It's really cool that they're turning it over to Tread Lightly for such a great cause.
2. I feel like Rock Jock could have an entire series that explains all of their products. I can tell a lot of thought went into them, but they seem so niche and specific that it's hard to appreciate them without having run into the problems they solve on my own.

Will the MORyde kitchen fit in a JL? Yes, a JL. I prefer a 2 door. My ARB 50 sits back there just fine.

While I personally love this Jeep, the number of people who'd want it too is far from what you imagine they are. There is even legitimate question as to whether or not the 2-door Wrangler will stick around.

I love the 2-door JT concept. Honestly if they made the bed 1/2 foot longer between cabin and rear wheel, to me that would be the optimal truck ratio, looks wise. Of course the way they did it is great as well, probably even better off-road. But to me looks matter a lot, so I wished for that extra 1/2 feet. For that I would trade our beloved low miles (forever keeper) JK-R in a heartbeat.
Quadratec Jeep is awesome, except for the "E" part.
LOL - it really is awesome and the E part, well, it's the way of the future regardless of what we want.

LOL - at least we spent a lot of time actually covering the Jeep and with Rob from Quadratec. This as opposed to "just" using a thumbnail of their Jeep.

As soon as I saw the MORryde jacket, I knew that fridge slide was going to be ridiculously expensive. $1100 for a fridge slide and drawer??? Overland markup at its best.
It is a bit pricey but it is made in the USA. Typically, that comes at a premium and to me, worth it.
@@wayalife - I understand that it costs more for it to be American made, but far too many U.S. companies (particularly “overland” companies) use that as an excuse to charge exorbitant prices. I promise you they could drop several hundred dollars off of that price and still turn a healthy profit. I want to support American made products, but not if it means I’m being taken advantage of.

Interestingly enough. morryde makes a very cost effective tailgate hinge reinforcements that are USA made and super competitively priced

John Currie the legend, maybe he should take a step back and look up the word customer service. I purchased a pair of his Rock Jock 60's for my 2005 LJ, they have the absolute worst customer service and I would never do business with them again. Regret the money I spent with them and should have bought Dynatrac.....

Looks great except it is still a wrangler with a bed! Why don't you put a frontend on it and let it stand alone? A JEEP TRUCK should look unique and doesn't need the WRANGLER LOOK to carry it. Try again!
Honestly, the fact that the Gladiator has the same grill as the JL Wrangler has never sat well with me. Maybe if it were called Scrambler, I'd be okay with it but just. But, I do own one and I still love it.
