    Fun fact: the Belgorod has retractable wheels that permit it to be used on a semi-amphibious basis; that is in shallow water (the vessel still needs about six feet of water to support the hull).

    If the Russian navy is anything like the United States Navy when they start throwing out specs, add 5 to 10 kn more per hour just saying you would be a fool to think technology stops but at any rate that’s very fast for submarine extremely fast. I feel sorry for any fish that gets in its way, they will get the equivalent of bug on the windshield while going freeway speed

      It has long been proven that Chernobyt was a terrorist attack, and Kursk was torpedoed by an American submarine, this was known in the very first days when two American nuclear submarines and one British one made their legs, as a result, a damaged American ship was fired in a dock in Norway and part of its deckhouse fencing and rescue buoys were found on Kursk crash site.
      And I know this not only from the news of those years, but my uncle also served in Kursk, but at that moment he was on vacation In addition, I personally have been on each warhead and will say that no explosion of a torpedo in a torpedo tube can lead to the death of a nuclear submarine, the torpedo complex is completely automated and created to withstand an explosion in three torpedo tubes at once, besides, those old torpedoes that allegedly exploded in Kursk. Before Anteev, their own modification of torpedoes was created and they began to arrive in service only at the end of 94-95, so there were never any old torpedoes on these nuclear submarines, and the new torpedo used on these submarines has 12 protection systems against detonation and against this torpedo it is impossible to leave if she has captured the target. The version about the old torpedo was created by the government in collusion with the US government, for which the US wrote off all the debts of the IMF, otherwise Russia would have to declare war for US aggression against Russia.

    I don't understand how it's possible to sail faster submerged rather than when surfaced!! Are you sure it's not the other way around??!

    • @froddy32623
      @froddy32623 2 месяца назад +5

      WW2 subs were primarily on the surface unless they were going to attack or evade therefore they were optimized for surface travel and could go faster on the surface. Post cold war subs are optimized to be submerged most of the time and were rather unstable on the surface and can safely travel at maximum speed while submerged.
