Fontaine is like a city in middle of fountain, it will flood cuz the primal water go over the city and dissolved everyone. Before the water went away somewhere else later, If the original prophecy happened
It’s incredible how much the animation has improved from the beginning of the game. Ever since Sumeru, the cutscenes have had a much more cinematic quality. The 4.3 event cutscene with Cheveruse is the perfect example.

guys my heart was racing during this cutscene and also when i saw furina's reaction i couldnt stop crying i love this game
such a beautiful cutscene and the remix of the fontaine music is amazing.
It has Mondstadt's Travail Theme in the end.
