  • Belize is a small but beautiful and friendly country. It gave us several 'firsts' in our round the world experience. Please excuse the couple of blips in the editing...first time I've failed to pick these up.
Ice 2 Fire is the first leg of our Round the World trip - Prudhoe Bay to Ushuaia.
We have sold everything (and I mean everything) and packed our panniers. Our bikes, two Yamaha T7s, were flown out to Anchorage along with ourselves.
It's been a rocky road of many ups and downs to reach this point. We have dealt with breast cancer and broken ankles amongst other things, and for the last five years we have been Chasing the Dream. The dream is now happening and we can't quite believe that we're on this journey. It's very surreal.

We don't use the drone enough as we're a bit lazy sometimes...

Brilliant, love the airal shots, it is a very beautiful place. I was also interested in the washing machine bag, I could have done with one of those years ago when my machine broke. X

What Carl or the bag? 🤣 It's just a dry bag we had spare so we brought it with us as a washing bag. It's probably about 20L (not sure) and it just folds up really small and squashes down in my pannier underneath other stuff. You don't need to spend £40+ on anything special, it just needs to agitate the washing. You also don't need to get undressed to do the washing! (It's just easier in the shower sometimes unless you have access to a decent tap.)

@@Life2ontour if you're worried the washing isn't agitated enough, just add something to the mix - tennis balls, stones. gym shoes... 🙂
