The reason Tony likes Tournaments so much is because then they don’t have to think up any storylines so he can just make up his fantasy matches and bury his best talent

At this point, you can't even argue with this. Tony's not even trying at this point. I would say he should let Copeland and Cage help him, but without that last buffer of a Vince, Patterson, or even Prichard, I'm not too sure that's the best of ideas.

Mark Briscoe’s matches are probably the best I’ve seen in the tournament so far. Besides just wanting to see the guy win he has S+ Tier ring psychology.

Lol, all the sudden everyone's paying attention to the fact that it's obviously someone different judging from the differences in the size of the "Devil". Also, Ol King Khan is playing with the idea of it could be anybody. Wardlow, Hangnail, Cole, even Britt Baker, Perry, etc etc..
What if plans changed & it ends up being Ol Matt Dribble, Ziggler etc etc. With the fact that they're was legit talks, maybe even Goldberg lol. Reuniting Edge and Christian straight away is one of the dumbest booking decisions I can think of. Edge signed a multi year deal. Christian has been killing as a heel and it's clear that Him and Edge wanted this feud. Slowly building towards them reuniting will get a much bigger reaction and a match like Edge and Christian vs The Hardy's should be saved for one of AEW's biggest PPVs like Double or Nothing or All In
You really want these two old fogey teams, that need to be retired already, to wrestle in dangerous TLC matches just because Tony is a nostalgia mark?

I would seriously pair Mark Brisco up with Juice Robinson as a tag team. Their gimmicks and personalities would mesh extremely well together. All that needs to be done is concoct a storyline to split him up from Jay White and Bullet Club Gold in a feud with Mark Brisco. But seriously Tony can't handle the care doing that requires. He doesn't have any writing skills at all or a grasp of I tricate, quality storytelling. He'd mess my idea up completely.

I was there when it happened. They did the turn in Toronto on Raw, and I'll never forget the flashes from the cameras that went off went Christian hit Edge with the chair.

Clueless Old Cornette thinks Adam Copeland vs. Christian hasn't happened since a tryout match in 1997, completely ignoring their feud in WWF 2001-2002. And that they had a match against each other in WWE 2010.

This tournament is so meaningless. It's a shame but now I am fast forwarding wrestlers who I like i.e. Jay Lethal because the matches are so awful.
I am curious to see if they mention Tony Schaivone saying WCW on the December 6 show. It then threw off the other two commentators who started laughing.
Speaking of commentators, I think Excrement is getting worse because he is absolutely insufferable. Not even Gordon Solie could save this show.

I used to listen to cornette twice a week up to five hours a week...waiting impatiently for each episode to drop. Now i can barely listen. Too toxic. Too negative. Ultimately bad for the culture.

Everytime MJF gets over with the fans he gets saddle with shitty booking the first time he got over here came Fat Man Jericho to suck the the heat away from him then CM Punk rescue MJF from the horrible booking and got him over again with their feud and then the Cucamonga kids along with Fat Man Jericho started to spread rumors about Punk to the dirtsheets to the point they never got to finish their feud a feud that has been considered the best feud on AEW history and once against he got saddle with horrible booking then MJF got over again with his heel work and once against Fat Man Jericho started to push the idea to Tiny Khan and the dirtsheets that MJF should turn baby face and they keep pushing that idea until Tiny Khan finally gave up and turn MJF baby face and once against he got saddle with shitty booking is like i have been saying for a long time now any wrestler that dares to get over without the help from Tiny Khan the Cucamonga or Fat Man Jericho gets bury with shitty booking is like Tiny Khan is afraid to lose any talent to WWE if they get over enough with the fans and the Cucamonga Kids and Fat Man Jericho cannot handle anyone getting more over than then or without their help so they tried do anything to get them bury with the fans

AEW is on its last legs, its viwership continues to lower. TK is now using overrun to pop views that is why their are so many, but sooner or later TBS well put and end to that. Plus how many wrestlers well want to renew thier contracts with all the crap going on? I would not be shocked if in the next year or two if AEW has a massive talent loss.
Also sooner or later TK's dad well pull the plug because this is a waste of money. TK is not a billionaire because of himself, but his dad. If he dad cuts him off from the money, TK well burn though his money so fast he be working a DQ fliping burgers.
Were he could meet Jim who can tell him off for letting Kenny, Chris, Moxley, and the other elites run off his big star, and run AEW.

A ) Cornette is *WAY* too hard on Ambrose. I hate the stupid shit he does almost as much as anyone, but to pretend like Ambrose is a BAD wrestler is ridiculous and kind of insulting to the audience. Ambrose is a GREAT wrestler that does really stupid, infuriating shit. There is a difference.
B ) Cornette should know just as well as anyone that its on the promotion to educate the fans. Just because americans typically don't interact with rd robin tournament formats, doesn't mean they can't or shouldn't. Furthermore, educating the audience to acclimate to something new is, by nature, not going to get over like crazy the 1st time.
C ) Wrestlers wrestling on TV is, in fact the basis for TV wrestling programming. I am not sure why Cornette just shits on just the idea of ever having cold matches on tv. If this is supposedly a prrsentation of a competitive sport, why the hell WOULDN'T there be match ups that happen "for no reason" occasionally? At least rd robin tournament explains why 2 heels would be wrestling each other.

So, there was a time in my life where I watched Impact, because it was an entertaining trainwreck. Aces and 8's era, you had to watch it, just to see what they'd do next. It was outrageous. I feel like AEW is just like that, but not good. You know, when you watch a bad movie, that's good? That's not AEW.

What makes the G1 great is that anyone can beat anyone only a couple of times has anyone won all of their matches.
In the past there's been times in wrestling where you have heel vs heel matches. Whether it's part of a tournament, or some random thing. I personally like it, because it's fresh match ups, and it's like you're watching something you shouldn't be seeing.
It's funny & depressing that New Japan was mentioned. Funny because N.J. is the only wrestling left that I can stomach watching. Depressing because even there, I'm inflicted with R~tards like Poxley turning up. Jesus I miss the wrestling that I grew up with since 79. Christ I'm old... somebody finish me off cause wrestling is dead. It was murdered by Vince, Paul and Tony. The real 3 stooges.

I can’t say much about the product before Full Gear but the show has been noticeably better after it but I think it mostly has to do with my investment in the Continental Classic. It’s a little predictable on the booking end but it’s refreshing to see no bullshit interruptions, finishes or convoluted storylines. Just matches and short promos.
The main event feud is fine but the story surrounding it is diluting the rivalry between MJF and Joe (not a fan of MJF being Joe’s prison bitch).
The Edge and Christian feud pretty much shit the bed after tweener Adam had that segment with him smashing that kid’s head in with the steel chair.
I pretty much skip everything else lol

Edge vs Christian would’ve been tons better if they had teamed up first. When was the last time we saw them together?! Never in AEW. Make them a team for a while, maybe even champs, then have Christian betray Edge. I bet these guys could make a Babyface & Heel Tag Team work - have Christian try to cheat, and Edge try to win fairly. Would be interesting dynamic. And the eventual feud would be better, because we see the brothers together before they become enemies.
Stings final match should be against Vampiro😂 just to make AEWs downfall truly WCW 2.0
