i personally think $62 is overpriced for an afternoon buffet - i was expecting a wider selections but surprised to see not that many. I live in Vegas and buffets here are very common and the price ranges from around US$40 which is like S$55 still less than the $62 u guys just paid for plus it includes prime ribs, crab legs, and all kind of seafood:) But glad u guys get to experience it. You never know unless u try:)
Nice to see a buffet video from you. It's expensive for me but seeing so many people there, I think many can still afford it comfortably. Putting myself into shoes of someone who is loaded, I can enjoy the meal much better 😊. If $70 to the richer folks is like $7 to me, the meal is really worth it 😁
High tea price is already expensive so I guess this afternoon tea buffet is also just as expensive 😲 thanks for introducing anyway, the food looks good leh 🤤
Actually, if you compare the variety of food and the amount you can get (which is unlimited), $60+ per pax is considered relatively inexpensive. There are many hotel afternoon/high tea which charge between $40-$60 per pax and yet the variety is perhaps only one third of what is shown in this video and there is only 1 serving ie: that one tray of food is all you get for the entire session, which can be quite little. So based on variety and quantity, this looks like a better deal.
Actually the price is pretty standard nowadays for hotels afternoon tea bah… this one has quite a good spread… Fullerton Bay has lesser variety although very good in taste n ambience… Carousel specializes more in local favs, Lime is pretty good too…
The good thing about afternoon tea buffet is you can just skip lunch and dinner, then it’ll be more worth it. And actually Singapore hotel buffets are all quite expensive... in my opinion.
Heyyy!!! SLAYY!!! You posted a new vid sry I wasn’t able to see it earlier but once I saw it I clicked on it faster that you could say “let’s go” love you guys😍😍😍
Ben and Randy: *eats a lot* Also Ben and Randy: ... we always take too long to take the video.. end up we never eat 😅 The last desserts you guys got was sooo pretty tho. I think the highlight of your buffet was the desserts 😍🤤
Each paying guest(6yo and above) will get 2 beverages, from a list of TWG tea, coffee or iced favourites. Topup only applies to some of the beverages, e.g. Golden latte, Iced flavoured tea, Artisan sparkling tea and hard coffee and tea...
Quality seems good. Yeah agreed the ambience was kinda distracting and noisy and since u are paying quite abit , expectation of the ambience wasnt met haha. Well if price point wasnt much of an issue i think its worth it. Maybe i will go once every 6 mths
Hello guys! Was this afternoon tea buffet at the Goodwood Park Hotel? 'Cause it sure looks familiar. That's where we stayed on our last visit to S'pore in 2017. I didn't catch the buffet there though. Cannot wait to visit again. Love your videos! P.S. Your mom is so hilarious!
@@creyji afternoon tea is the slightly more expensive cos it serve more filling items like what this video explains the difference between hi tea and afternoon tea. I tried their afternoon tea which is around 12pm to 3pm type at $20+ per pax. It's good but not wow for me and my family in term of taste because my mum is traditional nonya. But for the price I think it's a very good deal that's worth mentioning. The hi tea which is like 3pm to 5pm, I never tried before. Maybe some day I will give it a try but I got gastric so 3 to 5pm not my usual eating time so it will require me to special plan n adjust my schedule for meals so I don't end up gastric pain for eating at different time frame. I do recommend that restaurant too. I think they got multiple location? I only went to the NUH outlet as its near my house.
“We went to Singapore’s only afternoon tea buffet in Singapore”. 😂 I think you both never lu-gee lah, since you had all their varieties of food. But looks good to try it once I think. Maybe you can start a “buy me a coffee” for us to sponsor u a bit. 😂
Very Good Buffet. Everything looks really yummy But I think the price is too high. Thanks for ur video!!! Stay Safe and HEALTHY 🙏💛💛🙏. Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪
So this is the dry mee siam, and this is the laksa...... The mee siam is dry version. THATS IT!?!?!? Nothing to say whether its good or not? Like what am I watching for? just to see 2 dudes eating or actually really review if its good or worth having it?
I think the price is pretty average, i had a high-tea one at Fullerton Bay and is was even more expensive, but service and quality of the food make it up to the amount i paid.
Would have appreciated if you actually commented on which item is nice, which is bad and overall taste. Commenting on price without mentioning taste... how will viewers know if worth trying or not.
Not too bad, considering a single piece of tart/cake cost $6 to $10+ . Even a single scoop of ice-cream cost $5 to $10+ nowadays. However if you can't eat much, there is really no point to go to buffet (in fact, any buffet).
Definitely not worth the price. Might as well go to royal palm dinner buffer where there's a lot of dessert also over there and always 1 for 1 so you only pay $50 plus for 2 ppl
Yes. Iz expensive. Food are nice but will not be the hotpot buffet style where I can wack until my money is worth. Iz more of enjoy the experience bah...
I love your humor🤣🤣🤣. But why for $62.00 per pax, there is No smoke salmon salad or salmon open faced sandwich. Not even Bo Bo cha cha as local delight. I am sure as Singapore already opened for group dinning there will be more afternoon high tea venues with better pricing . I think a more down to earth price is $42.00 . 🙏 Thank you.
This is more like High Tea...instead of Afternoon Tea. Normally, Afternoon Tea is more a relaxed atmosphere with full table service. Guess it's more a marketing gimmick calling it Afternoon Tea. Can add extra $10 to the price :)
Their dim sum pau was cold like a stone 😳 referring to Ritz hotel even restaurant standards also served hot foods better than them so don't judge the environment by its cover! Kindly for the public reference.

Should try StraitsKitchen's afternoon tea buffet - its super good and made to order. Slightly cheaper too
4:52 “But anything for you guys is worth it” awwww thank you too for sharing buffet video too.
🤣😂🥰🥰
I never knew an "afternoon tea buffet" existed but that looks so good 🤤😋

i went to this exact afternoon tea buffet before and i thought the stirrer was a straw too when i got my drink at 3:25 HAHAHAH

my favourite afternoon tea buffet is the tea lounge at the regent
I miss buffets so much!! Been so long since i had self-service buffet ❤️❤️ , food looks real good , but the price 💸💸💸, ISOK experience is better
Ben and Randy: *eats a lot*
Also Ben and Randy: ... we always take too long to take the video.. end up we never eat 😅

No it’s not the only one. Scott 10 at Hyatt hotel’s high tea comes with semi buffet too and the spread is glorious and yummy.
And you still get the usual tier high tea tray too.
Watching you guys eat makes me hungry 🥹😆
😋😋
$62 and still need to top up for tea? aiyo

@@BenRanAway You're welcome! Keep up the good work!
benranaway can you do a only starbucks for 24hours challenge?
You should try Chilli Padi Nonya Cafe's afternoon tea buffet! Their peranakan buffet is good 😬🤤 Only $19.80++
Afternoon tea start from $22.90 or $22.80 I think. The $19.80 version is the hi tea not the afternoon tea.
@@celestialstar124 Right! They call it hi-tea not afternoon tea 😅 Their food is good though, recommend you to try it someday!

The spread looks so so la but maybe just worth a one off try.
Cutest bros in SG

Goodwood park hotel
Not worth la. $72 no smoked salmon or oysters..
$62++ is a ripoff for the selection and ambience

LOL some kids shouting!
Food looks average... try the one at Kempinski or Raffles Hotel?
I went there before
How was it!
Definitely not worth the price. Might as well go to royal palm dinner buffer where there's a lot of dessert also over there and always 1 for 1 so you only pay $50 plus for 2 ppl
It is expensive for the level of ingredients....
Abit overpriced. Think can get same price for way better ambience and food
Yes. Iz expensive.
Food are nice but will not be the hotpot buffet style where I can wack until my money is worth.
Iz more of enjoy the experience bah...

Haha yes good idea
For that kind of price I rather go for a proper lunch buffet!

Feel the spread is not so attractive for this pricing. The buffet items are mostly low cost food.
Regardless worth it or not , I still couldn't afford it..LoL
Not worth it cause $62 plus gst???!!!
lost me at the teapot

Cold and dry like frozen dim sum, $64++ you pay for the plating and ambience doesn't mean nice environment serve good foods!
lol rather take the money eat haidilao instead hahahaha
Y’all literally ate foods which is total lesser than $30 for like lesser than 1hr but end paying $62++ per pax😂😂
First!
Fast!

Definitely not worth it for me because one laksa and a drink I be full
