Yes, there’s only one location right now (Capital One Lounge DFW), however, there are more on the way as the network continues to get built out (i.e. Washington Dulles International, IAD, and Denver International Airport, DEN).

Basically, airport lounges are a great way to escape the noisy terminals in an upscale environment. While overcrowding has become an issue at a lot of lounges these days, so far the traffic at the Capital One Lounge DFW has been manageable. Hopefully it’ll stay that way over time!
CAPITAL ONE LOUNGE: HOW TO GET IN
💳 Capital One Venture X | Capital OneSpark Travel Elite cardholders
- Unlimited complimentary access
- Guests: 2 per visit (no charge) | Additional = $45 each
💳 Capital One Venture Rewards | Capital One Spark Miles cardholders
- 2 complimentary visits per calendar year, then $45/visit.
- Can be used by the primary cardholder, their guests, or AUs
- Guests = $45 each after the 2 passes have been used
💳 Other cardholders (Capital One credit cards or other bank cards)
- Standard day pass rate = $65 per person
Here are the steps to follow once you’ve gotten a Capital One Credit Card…
1. Present your eligible credit card or digital pass to front desk.
2. Present your boarding pass & guest boarding passes to front desk. All boarding passes must be for a departing or connecting, same-day flight.
3. Children under 2 may enter for free with a supervising parent or guardian.

I have and was pleasantly surprised by it. For it being their first lounge I think they did an excellent job. An I believe they will take what they've learned from it and make the next ones even better! Can't wait to see what the new dining lounges will look like.

Don’t forget venture x is also a visa infinite card so you get perks from national too. You’re automatically a national executive club member I just used it in Houston rented a brand new tundra just walk to the car no need to even check in with the people

Lounges are one of the huge reasons we love our credit cards! They provide just that little bit of extra enjoyment for us who love to travel for free with our credit card points. Thanks for sharing your experience Mark! I’m sure I’ll visit this lounge one day so it’s cool to get a sneak peak!

We’ve been to this lounge 4-5 times. It’s pretty awesome. Be sure to ask as soon as you check in to the lounge about the various rooms (relaxation, shower, etc) since there’s sometimes a wait. The staff doesn’t seem to enforce the time limits unfortunately and we were left waiting well past our scheduled time a couple times. First world problems but sometimes you have limited time. This is NOT the lounge in the Taylor Swift commercial 😂.

It's always been WAY LESS crowded than the Centurion lounge every time I've been through DFW. The staff has always been super friendly, the lounge really nice + clean, and the food pretty good. I'm always surprised by how few people are in there. Thanks for the info + video.
That's been my experience so far, too. I haven't been to the DFW Centurion Lounge in awhile 😄
Because they think Capital One is less quality compared to the Amex name, but I would rather be in a less crowded lounge.

It's actually so funny because the Centurion lounges are nice but kinda overrated when you have to contend with the crowding. and people buy into the Amex brand so hard they think they're getting "the best experience" meanwhile those in the know have the Venture X and are straight CHILLIN with their FREE guests (Centurion doesn't offer free guests anymore)

I flew out of DFW a few months back - and because I fly with American Airlines I was right there. Actually think it was that gate that you referenced in the video because I saw the Capital One doors right behind where I was waiting for my flight! But we didn’t have our cards yet. Now I have the Venture X and I wish I could go back and visit that place. It looks amazing.

I liked seeing the veggie options and the grab n go food. The quiet rooms were kinda close to the noisy kitchen though. Overall, very comfy, but I did wonder if the style and light colors would stand up to wear and tear over time. Did it still look very fresh to you now that it’s almost a year in operation? And gosh those other two lounges are very slow to open!
Agreed! Yes it still looks fresh last time I went ~ 1-2 months ago.
Good video Mark and thanks for the tour. That being said, all I've heard about these lounges in general is overcrowding, not sufficient staff and often food supplies are a bit short. I know some people who like the lounge access perk, but for someone like me who just likes to come and go out of airports asap when traveling, it's not quite my thing.
Yep, that's been true at a good # of Priority Pass + airline-operated lounges. Haven't experienced overcrowding or any of the other issues with the C1 Lounge so far.

I just visited this lounge this past week. It was just okay. Centurion lounge had a huge line out the door. AMEX is nicer, but does no good when you can't get in.
Amex needs to solve the overcrowding issue 😬
@@MarkReese definitely. Hopefully the upcoming changes to guests at Centurion lounges will help that. Don’t see many people spending 75K per year.

Not that I'm aware of. Only eligible Capital One cards at this time.

@@OKZK_Bros - (1) Only kids under 2 y/o get in free. If older, they'll be regular guests. (2) With the C1 Venture X, you can bring in 2 guests for free at the C1 Lounge @ DFW. (3) Your AU can also bring in 2 guests at no charge. So, you could bring 1 kid and she could bring 1 kid. Everyone gets in for no additional charge.

I’ve had the ventures card for 10 years now. I only used it to get points then redeem it. I fly all the time. In 2 days it will be my 3rd time this year flying to Southeast Asia. So you’re telling me with the Venture card..I can access these lounges 2 times a year for free? Or do I have to pay? If so, how mich. Thanks!
And how do we redeem it? We just charge it to our venture card then contact Capital one to issue the credit?

Both cards can get you in, but the levels of access are different. Venture = 2 free visits. Venture X = unlimited free visits. See 8:20 in the video for more info.
What about all the other card holders tiers do we have access?
No. See 9:33 in the video. Other cardholders pay the day pass rate per person.

I have Venture One Card I heard we can 2 visits a year I will DFW in Dec can you let if I can use it ?
Hi Michael - no. The Venture Rewards ($95 AF) offers 2 visits per year. The VentureOne Rewards ($0 AF) does not include any complimentary visits. Rather, it's $65 per person.
I can't find info on the Venture Rewards card.

Yeah LAX really needs to get 2-3 true Priority Pass lounges running.
I wish they would rotate the food options a bit more. they've had the same offerings for a year now. But the lounge is one of the better ones I've visited.
