Excellent video! Dollywood’s an old favorite of mine. I’ve been going there every year since 2009. 70 is my personal favorite of the two locomotives at the park. I actually have some facts about the old G class consolidation displayed outside of the park. Old 107 was built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in November of 1887 for the East Tennessee, Virginia, and Georgia railroad. She was one used for a promotion for the Rebel Railroad along with former Genesee & Wyoming 206. G&W 206 is now in Chattanooga, TN at the Chattanooga Choo Choo hotel. 107 is of the same class of locomotive as Southern Railway 154.

It most certainly is. Crosby 3 chimes usually have a recognizable sound that is unmistakable for any other whistle. It’s loud, mellow, and mournful.
