@mikeruddick93 And "those trusty chords" refers to "Trusty Chords" by Hot Water Music...and the original line of "A night on earth" refers to "Night on Earth" by Bouncing Souls.
They played at the crowfoot and it was amazing, the lead singer was like " I'm sick as fuck right now but I couldn't miss out on this because I love every one of you."
2:08 is one of my favorite Trio vocal melodies ever. and I'm one of those suckers for the old stuff. when they get it right with the new shit they're just as good as ever if you ask me. always looking forward to new stuff by the boys!

@mongolia1 that's because he doesn't sing "don't call me white" on the recording.. on the original it's "a night on earth can pull me through" (bouncing souls reference) and of course, in the first verse it's "those trusty chords can pull me through", a Hot Water Music reference. But you already knew that.
@@jakky3572 If mark didnt get cancer I guarantee you, this reunion would not have occured. This is isnt because tom was eager to play with blink again, this is because he might not have gotten the chance to do it again hence the new album name.
@@crimsonpunx Just joking. I guess you are right :) But it seems like Tom is genuinely happy and committed to Blink now. That's just awesome. Also great seeing Matt with new Alkaline 3 music.
I SWEAR, I LOVE THIS SONG. EVERYTIME I FEEL SAD, I KEEP REPEATING THIS SONG AND I FEEL STRONGER.

Derek gets so fucking into it whenever he plays. I love that.

Back then with no smart phones, no Twitter, facebook, Instagram, non of that. Just a punk rock concert. Crazy to think this will never happen again.

Anggera Prasetyo every time I watch this I notice that guy haha he’s how I feel inside when I listen to AK3!!! The best!!!
And here I am again watching this...I love this song..
It's half a tone lower than the studio version, it sounds weird.
probably from fatigue
like, they adjusted the whole song to fit Skiba's voice
awesome!! cant wait to see you guys in south africa!
Derek is unreal
0:51 Cameraman found the only person in the crowd who doesnt know the words.
WOW!

@mikeruddick93 i think so! "don't call me white can pull me through" i never noticed it before
@wki03 its one of there first insignias an upsidedown star with the scull without a bottom jaw in the center you can google it
Are you all thinking to ignore how the BASSIST killed it in this performance?
I can't go on
You set my head too heavy
I need that song
Those trusty chords could pull me through
And early on
They saw the warning signs and symptoms all day long
We'd sit and dream of better days
Where we'd hit the ground running on empty
Stories we've been told
And all those nights we spent together
Never felt this fucking cold
When we let the car run in the driveway
Kiss you one last time
Before we brought the horses in before
The storm of '59', of 59', of 59
I can't go on
These limbs have grown too heavy
I need that song
A night on earth could pull me through
And early on
They saw the warning signs and symptoms all day long
Wonder how far from here we'll fall
Before we hit the ground running on empty
Stories we've been told
And those nights we spent together
Never felt this fucking cold
When we let the car run in the driveway
Kiss you one last time
Before we brought the horses in before
The storm of '59', of 59'
Of '59
Of '59

I actually prefer it one-half step out. I think it gives it a darker, more biting sound.
@DoolittleKid Can't help but watch him all the way through this DVD. Him, and the girl at the front who keeps getting the lyrics wrong

Er, I'm not? Google it. HWM/Alk3 do it all the time - hence why they covered each others songs on the 7" split.
We need another anti-war compilation for our generation: Rock Against Biden. #NoWarWithRussia
You need to take the war to those arseholes running the establishment. YOu've got the weapons and it would be a piece of cake!
