The best video of Romantic French Country I have ever seen. I loved everything you captured. From the inside out. I have shared it many times. And lots of ideas gleaned.
The chateau is stunning, and although the restoration is not yet fully finished, it is very much a home and a place which welcomes guests looking for a different experience. Much of the original wallpaper, finishes, etc have been deliberately left so as to preserve the incredible heritage and history of this building. The renovation work has been ongoing for several years and an amazing amount of work has been accomplished. The photographs are beautiful. I am particularly partial to those by Jamie Beck of Ann Street Studio. Thank you for the gorgeous video.
The dilapidation is precisely the appeal of this beautiful building. They have managed to create something unique and exceptional in a place which has no reason to be completely restored. Hats off!
I would love to see the progression of this restoration and eventually complete 🙂👍🏼 from western 🇨🇦 I love this chateau which is so worthy of being saved 🙂🌺
Whoever has done these video..congratulations! They bring courage for me, to do decor in my home, from these videos. Sometimes, l see new ideas, that l would not have thought of. Real eye opener, for the less experienced, as myself.
well the facts are it was a photo shoot the cats its likely belong there because you can not have a house that size with out you get issues with vermin , but the horses might not be there other than for the shoot , mind you, they could live there , that i can not say , old homes usually have at least a couple of cats though , i know my parents had 10 but ours was a working farm , where there is grains stored you will have mice and rats , but with all that country side its more likely its field mice in winter , rats are everywhere though, certainly i saw our cats with dead rats , sometimes they brought them in as gifts , so generous cats are ..... eeeewww , lol
Gorgeous chateau, great for photos and photo shoots, but looks too staged. Not lived in, yet not abandoned, either. It doesn't look like a HOME. Even so, it is beautiful and I enjoyed looking at these photos. So so beautiful and very romantic. I can easily imagine a wedding being held there. It's perfect for a wedding.
GirladyLocks I think the Waters a couple from Australia bought this castle with the intention of opening a bed and breakfast slash hotel! Guests have already been arriving and staying in the rooms that have been restored. The couple lives and works there and have hundreds of volunteers working day and night! It’s all they do is work a little and eat a lot right from the castle kitchen!
i know they are repairing her now and she is a beautiful lady that deserves restoration , what a sad state the beautiful rooms are in , makes me so sad to see big beautiful homes go to ruin because they cost too much to keep and repair, the biggest issue is those beautiful proofs of wealth like the very ornate roofing and the ornate plaster work are still proof of wealth because they cost a fortune to put right when the crumble

Unusual casts, silence is deafening, shades moving....
The spiral staircase is so beautiful❤
it needs some restoration and cleaning. Hope this will be restored to its full glory 💕
