the ash trough will run out of ashes so you need to shoot food into it to feed the fire slimes.

Couple tips
1. gordos need 50 if whatever food they like unless it's there favorite, then only 25
2. fire slimes are just like puddles except for the fact that they need food to be put in their trough
3. there is a treasure pod behind the research area with very good loot
4. find all the green treasure pods because they have decorations

you can get phase lemons by throwing a fruit at a ripe phase lemon. tangle slimes should be put it in the overgrowth and put mosaic slimes in a corral with a solar shield so their solar anomalies don't happen

Solar shield or not, their solar glints happen anyway. There's no way of preventing them except splashing them with water, which is honestly a waste imo.

Hey Jack, heres a tip: When you buy water turrets, you should place them near the corral of tangles, just in case they ever find a plort lying around.

I don't know if he figures this out later in the episode but:
Fire Slimes actually fall from the sky, they descend among the meteors. But if you're specifically looking for them, they actually do kind of stand out between all the death from above, they are bright re in color so it would be easy to spot them sine all the meteors are brownish. They only fall when the sky turns red and the meteors start falling, of course. Like so Jack can see and get fire babies?
EDIT: Jack, you even read it out loud in the Slimepedia! Fire Slimes die if they're spit out anywhere else than in an ash trough.

Jack, its best to swap your Tangle corral with your chicken coop in the Overgrowth. Chickens naturally spawn in the Overgrowth and will give your Tangles something to eat while you're away, in addition to carrots and pogo fruit if you mix them with anything. I don't think they can reach them from the corral's current location.
The next Slime Door you should unlock is the one to the left of the building where the Tangle Gordo was. This will open up the Dervish and Mosaic temples, or where you use their Plorts to activate the fountains. I just call the areas their temples.
If you haven't gotten the Rad Gordo yet, you're missing him, a Quantum Gordo hidden in the Ancient Ruins, and two more Gordos in the Glass Desert. You should have 3 Slime Keys left over after popping all the Gordos and unlocking all the doors. There's a post-game reason for this.
Also, you put your Mosaic Crystals where I did!

Jack? Get a music box for the dervish slimes. It'll make it much easier to maintain. And remember the areas isolated from everything in the back of the wilds and the lab? Put the tangles in the lab (it's farther away so it won't be snagging stuff) and mosaics in the wilds (slimes won't see the shimmers). It's way too dangerous to merge them with anything, same with dervish. Be sure to put toys they like and music boxes in their corrals so they won't be too agitated and cause hell for you. *Please like this, everyone! I want this to reach Jack so he doesn't have catastrophe!*

I've never had issues with those slimes. My dervish and tangles are together and largos, and I have my mosaics mixed with the quantums. Keep them fed and they won't cause issues.

Best way to keep Tangles is mixed with Dervishes in the Docks. No other slimes can be in the Docks though, except for Puddles because they don't mix with anything. The logic is that both of them are capable of moving things around, including other Plorts, so the solution is to keep them isolated together.

Ohhh jack, ur not even close to being done once you get to between 60-65 days in slime rancher credits roll, then you can go back in the game and you get mail from Hobson (old ranch owner) who tells you that there is 3 special vaults you can open to get stuff.

Jack whatever the gordo eats for E.G tabby eats meat it will eat 50 meat but if you get the slimes favorite food it counts as double like so Jack can see
A few tips for Jack:
There are is a machine to make it convenient for you to deal with slime science resources. Its called a refinery link, and these are also super helpful because they are able to be picked up. If you go out into the wilderness and run out of slots to carry stuff, you can just plop down a refinery link and empty out your inventory. When your done putting it all away, you can just pick it back up by pressing E. It's super nice.
Please use slimes favorite food. Its so helpful. Also for the 3 Gordo slimes that are in the Glass Desert, you only need 25 of their favorite food to get their stuff. If you don't get their favorite food, you need 50 of whatever type of food.
Later you'll see a gordo trap you cn build. If you find a gilded ginger(one a day by the stairs at the entrance to the Glass Desert) you can use that as bait and get the GOLDEN Gordo. BTW get 3 gilded gingers to explode it.
Also when you put mosaic slimes in a corral, get them the solar shield so they wont blow up wandering slimes. Or at least that can happen so be mindful.

It's really important that you read Casey's messages. I've been playing the game on my own and they're really important to understanding the messages that Hobson leaves you and the over all lore of the game. It gives the game a whole other layer of brilliance that you should really be allowing us viewers to experience.

Honestly, the game is better without the boring letters, and the only Hobson notes worth reading are some of the ones that give you tips on how to play.
Treme Jenkins actually this game built on the hobbson notes it tells the story of the characters and the place it's self which is part of the exploration theme of the game so don't call them boring

Jack, if you are having trouble keeping the Tangle slimes here's some advice!
Put the Tangle slimes in the area with all the chickens because the slime cage things are far apart and they can just grab chickens to eat. try mixing them with pinks so they eat anything.

To find a gilded (or golden) ginger all you have to do is find the back of the mosaic slime ( when jack gets to that bit ) and put a teleporter nearby. once you have done that look for a gilded ginger path that goes along the cliff edge and underneath the mosaic gordo where the purple treasure pod is. If you dont find the ginger go back to the ranch via teleporter or more simply jump off! Repeat this over and over until you get a ginger. put it on a master gordo snare, go to sleep and the next morning you will have a golden gordo!!! I think you need to pop it with 3 gilded gingers and make sure you have food for the golden slimes!!!! I hope this is useful and please like so jack sees!!!

Jack there is a treasure sphere behind your lab you should open. Also the pThase lemon if the quantum slime's favorite. Feed a slime its favorite and it will give you 2 plorts. The new machine is a toy shop. There's a favorite toy for each slime. Like a crystal ball for a crystal slime "The crystal ball is favored by the crystal slimes who can see into the future but will never tell" is the description for it. If you give a slime its favorite toy it will lower their agitation. They'll try to escape and stack less, dervishes with make cyclones less, mosaics will make the glares less, you get it. And, finally, puddle slimes are shy. If they're in a pond with more than 3 other puddle slimes they will start to blush. As adorable as that is it means that they will stop making plorts. Giving the rubber ducky to them will raise the max puddle slimes per pond from 4 to 5. But be careful because if you suck up the rubber ducky and it leaves the pond they might leave the pond to go after it. If they stay on land too long they will perish. Fire slimes dont get shy but its the same case. If they leave the ash trough they will die.

tip: the water in your puddle slimes pond WILL decrease over time, so you know, just shoot some water in once in a while. But one more thing, it decreases SUPER slowly, so no need to go crazy, just fill up and empty your water gun into the pond every once in a while.

There are slime vaults to get when the game is almost done. They are filled with gold plorts also there is a gold smile Gordo but you need a Gordo trap to get it

To get the gilded ginger, you have to wait until the start of a new day, then search all around the glass desert for it. Only one can grow per day, and it's only in one spot for the entire day. The spots change every day. Also, it cannot be found growing amongst other veggies, and yes, the gilded ginger is a veggie

This is totally random, but I love the noise the Fire Slime makes when Jack plops it in the ash trough. It's like a cross between a purr and a contented, "Ooh." It's like it's telling you that the pile of ashes is warm and soft and snuggly, which it probably is.
Jack, don't forget to burn stuff in the Incinerator by throwing it to the red rod. This produces ash, which fire slimes consume, if no ash remains, fire slimes die.

Jack you should put that lantern with the Phosphor Hunters. It'll calm them down.
Use the slimes' favorite foods. It DOUBLES the amount of plorts you get from the slimes, so it could get, say, 2 of x plorts and 2 rad plorts by feeding any largo that has rad in it oca ocas, since oca ocas are rads' favorites. It essentially doubles your income. A viable strategy to maximize spots (with optimizing plorts for SCIENCE!!!) is to divide the number of slimes with how many different largos you can make. There is an uneven amount of slimes, so you will need one more than 8, making 9 corrals. You can mix your last slime with one random other slime (I mix mosaics with pinks, as you use pinks the most for science). This means you can have 9 gardens/coops to supply the favorite foods. I don't recommend using pogofruit, hen hens, or carrots, as they are unfavored food items. Also, ANY item (granted, it still has to be part of the slime's diet ) that is not the favorite of the slime will act the same as any other, besides the favorite.
The rubber ducky toy makes the puddle slimes less shy, allowing you to have 5 total puddles in one pond.
Fire slimes technically don't have a limit on how many can be in an ash trough. They feed off the ash that is created by throwing any food into the incinerator.
You can get unique resources using any of the extractors in the glass desert. Another tip is that you have a better chance to get the rare resources if you don't put an extractor in an area where it finds a unique item, as those unique items are an extra common item. Probability laws are cool.

Jack, in the ancient ruins there are little glowing dots ( echos as hey are called) atop of statues and the little light spear things, if you collect them they make good decorations if you want to decorate! I spent 4 hours so far myself on the Xbox 1 version of slime rancher collecting them as little path showers and telling me what slime eats what without looking at the slimeipieda. Thought i'd tell yeah :D (so far I found only blue, green, gold, and red ones)
