Pharrell decided he’ll never do any serious production/music with Birdman or his artist again (hence no Pharrell x lil Wayne or Pharrell x Drake hit records) … Clipse which is Pusha T and his brother are from same area as Pharrell. Thus Pusha t kicked off beef with LilWayne/Young Money. Drake later kept that beef going with Pusha T. PushaT dissed Drake exposing he had a son to the world. Pharrell sold his famous chains (seen as historical artifact by some)that inspired a generation of jewelry couple yrs back. Guess who anonymously buys it ? Drake. Drake later follows to say he was going to melt it like ironically like colonizers. Now here, Kendrick in this record states he doesn’t like how Drake had been throwin jabs at Pharrell, and “he’ll inherit the beef” - which makes the next line even colder. “Yeah fuck all that pushin P, let me see you push a T” . {double entendre on P as in Pharrell known skateboard P but also pushin P the slang term}
It was also because Pharrell partnership with Louis Vuitton and Vuitton didn't want to partner up with Drake.
You're right about Drake doing things behind the scenes that got his friends mad at him, but the history of Kendrick versus Drake goes all the way back to 2013.

You need to investigate Drakes mob ties to the Toronto gang scene as well. The GGG gang, La Halal gang, and the ongoing beef between the OvO and XO gang is also at issue.
Also Drake has been stealing from local Toronto rappers and black balling them. Layers to this beef is beyond rap.

So that started a beef you know people some play about their money so then they started going back and forth dissing each other then it got more amped up then drake got into with ye and pusha t pusha t dissed him they going back n forth and drake a k dot started beefing after the poetic justice song. And drake saying the N word I see why k dot said he don’t want him saying if you go back this interview drake literally says “I’m Jewish “

Its not because drake is mixed its because drake was raised Jewish. In a Jewish neighborhood, a Jewish school, Jewish friends. He's on video saying hip hop culture and slang is ignorant and stupid. He only started "embracing" the culture when he decided to start rapping. Even thennhe uses up people in the culture for his benefit and then disposes of them. Hes mlving like a culture vulture.

Hey brother....I wish there was a viable way to pull off a guess the artist/song music challenge. Admittedly, I wouldn't do well with music released after the millennium...but in between say,1950-2000? I can not be beaten by anyone on Earth. Many who really knew their stuff tried,and it's never even been close. I'm not trying to come from a place of ego... they say everyone has something they're good at. And it's not as if I have ever found a practical application for my hidden talent😂. I don't make money from it,lol. But again,if there was a viable way to do it...I would challenge all comers. And it wouldn't go well for them. On the other hand, remembering what I got up and went to the kitchen for? That's a whole different story, hahaha. But often I will hear a song I haven't listened to in decades. I know it within 2 notes,and remember all the words. Along with the backstories. The names of the members of the band,who wrote it,who engineered the record,ect....I can not be beat.

I like Kendrick since he a conscious rapper and excellent at it but my problem with him is one of my problem with every rapper... the use of the n word. I'm sick of hearing it which is why I don't really listen to rap anymore and its just embarrassing for them since we all should know that word is nothing more than a racial slur against they own people. smh 🤦🏿♂ Nobody should be using that word.

We just need to bring back the use of "brotha" and "sista" into popularity and teach our children why to never use the n word. Hope in future generations depends on us living today that knows what's right.
