What's really crazy is Kendrick warned him. He told him on the record earlier that did you ever think OVO is working for me. Then he said Drake put money on the streets meaning he tried to buy information about Kendrick and no receipts came back because no information did cuz he lives a boring life. Another point originally the Kendrick song was supposedly over 10 minutes long maybe 15 and he obviously chopped up that information into multiple songs so we didn't immediately gas out he literally released that song today just to see the response and Drake took the bait. He told him he knew the angle he was going to come with and he was waiting for him to mention his family which he did and within an hour he had this. I'm in my mid-40 so I've lived through all the craziest rap beefs I know you guys are probably really young so in 2009 when I was 30 years old Drake first emerged and his entire demeanor and persona is literally nothing like it is now talking tough That's why Kendrick said we like Melody Drake not tuff Drake he literally created this entire alter ego and surrounded himself with people that would make him look more street and more believable but people who are old enough know what the original version of him actually is

I don't think people are really studying this properly Kendrick literally told him exactly what was going to happen and what angle Drake was going to use to attack him. He said earlier he knows Drake had money on the street to buy information about him and it came back with no receipts meaning he got nothing That's why when Drake released that record today it included the information that Kendrick already knew he was going to talk about which is his kid's mother. He didn't add anything new or groundbreaking to that song. On the other hand Kendrick released the record early in the day just to Garner a response with subject matter that included his family and it triggered this reaction. The original record Kendrick recorded was over 15 minutes long so what he probably did is chopped the information up into different records instead of dumping everything at one time. He also clearly told him he has somebody in his own camp as a mole and how his own crew are actually hoping he takes a loss. Someone like Kendrick who's very detailed orientated like a Nas would not waste lyrics on fraudulent and fabricated info

Kendrick approached this so methodically it’s insane, he dropped 6:16 in LA as a final warning to Drake, he already knew this track was coming from Drake and his family was mentioned in it. He might’ve even heard it all. He gave him a chance to rethink and Drake committed and got annihilated. Drakes diss was good but Kendrick stepping on it with a bomb was so smart. Drake is in a difficult situation now where if he drops he has to match the disrespect levels, if not then his legacy is tainted with another loss.
Stepping on it? This was a weak response man. Drake exposed Kendrick as a fraud. Which he is.
