They never explicitly said they were judging him for his lifestyle. They were certainly shocked by it. If you feel like he is being judged, or he feels like he is being judged, it's because the reality is that his lifestyle is shocking.

Is it me or was that rude when the mum asked how much the macaroons cost, because I was always taught that it was rude-when you are given something to ask how much things cost?
It was really rude she basically scoffed at him for being kind enough to buy it as a gift.
I think both of the parents were rude compared to the other parents on this show but the kids were lovely and £2 for one macaroon is not a lot it’s just because there broke so that was kinda rude

I don't understand , he offered them all macaroons politely and first thing she says is how much did that cost then goes on to say I could make about 50 to 60 cupcakes with the price you paid for that, making him feel like hes supposed to feel bad because of that, like not only are they jealous and bitter , but seems like the people that raised them didn't even teach them basic manners wtf

Jealousy is not an issue of class, though. That's a very narrow perspective. Someone will always be jealous of something. Doesn't have to be material, could be that they have friends and you don't, their smile, anything. Personally, I think it's natural to be jealous of others. It's natural to feel all emotions, but we have to control how we treat others regardless. I don't personally think this family was rude at all. They performed the purpose of the show.

That family have no shame, how can you go on national television and your house is filthy, they need to organise their house and clean it! It’s like they purposely didn’t clean and thought they’d make him the cleaner. The family were so judgemental about the rich boy, his life is fine, they should look at their own situation rather then ridicule and judge others.

it's perspective. They've lived a certain way for a long time. So if they were to become rich, their habits probably wouldn't change. THey probably still wouldn't hire a maid and leave most of the money towards their children's tuition.

The United Kingdom is full of opportunities. Why didn’t they get a degree, commit to being well qualified, and pursue a decent paying job?
Why did they get into so much debt? I don’t ever see these problems with middle class families. They do not manage their wealth properly, and that is why they’re having to contribute a significant amount of their earnings towards their bills.

Not being mean, But the stay home dad ,Should look into a part time job ,Maybe a Dinner supervisor at a school for 3 hours a day or a part time cleaner, extra 25/35£ a day can help with bills ,With Budgeting I highly reccomend shopping with Aldis or Lidls, Aldis Coco Pops are way better than the originals and there 69p a box ,that lasts us about 4 days 69p!!

When I was a kid I had some poor friends... We used to eat mustard sandwiches, pickle and cheese sandwiches without bread just sliced cheese with pickles in between...Used to have a friend where the only way I could come over is by bringing food.... When I was young I didn’t think much of it, but looking back in retrospect it’s different.

come on their shocked about macarons costing 12 pounds? jheez that's quite reasonable that's only 2 pounds each (unless he bought it as a box altogether or he can pick and choose how many and which ones he wanted) but still come on 12 pounds that's not too bad. I make 17,28 pounds at my student job as a web developer on the side of my computer science degree and even my starbucks costs about 6,34 pounds so if i had 2 starbucks it would be the same as buying one of those macaroon boxes so it's not that bad. I live in Copenhagen so i know their are a lot more things here that costs a lot more than 12 pounds. Those macaroons u get 6 pieces, starbucks u only get 2 drinks so if u put that into perspective it's not too bad.
