I'm wondering what the 10 spies were thinking when Joshua and Caleb only gave Moses the good report. They all saw the same things in the land God had for Israel but Joshua and Caleb focused on the good things and promises God had for them while the 10 spies focused on the giants, obstacles and impossibility of Israel ever defeating them and taking the land. They also told Moses what they saw which is in fact what they did see. But, the thing is that God was pleased with Joshua and Caleb"s report because they magnified how big God was and how they could defeat those Giants with His help, and the 10 spies focused on how small they were as if God expected them to defeat those Giants without Him. Them saying that they couldn't defeat the giants focused more on their incapabilities than on God's power to help them. We talk about God and how great He is, but still haven't learned to elevate in this level of faith as a people. We think it's about keeping ourselves right when it's God who works in us and with us. God is waiting for someone to show Himself strong through. That's why I love what this woman of God is saying. It's all about God showing who He is through us as believers. We haven't learned to rest in Him, trust in Him. We still stress and are troubled about what we see when Jesus says to His disciples not to let their heart be troubled. This woman of God is saying Christ in us, God's will becoming visible on the earth. Jesus said as He is so are we in this world..well, Jesus healed, Jesus delivered, Jesus exhibited Power, He did miracles...so if we are like Him in this world, why are many of His ppl not looking like Him? I love her because her focus is on the good report.
