Tis the legends of those whom came afore. In time afore time, there were the Forerunner and the dark plague that swept the lands wiping out all life. But, when all seemed lost, the Forerunner guided arcane dark magic to wipe the worlds clean. Now, we are warring against the crusade of the Covenant, invaders from far off reaches. Our lands burn. Harvest, Onyx, Reach. All are lost. But in one final effort, a legendary hero emerges, clad in green armor and golden visor. He is man's last best hope. He campaigns across the lands, and takes the fight to the Covenant's holy relic, Halo. After besieging the Covenant's relic, the Spartan would fight to safeguard Mombasa, and ruin another Halo ring. The Spartan and his companion fought against the plague in the Covenant's holy city of High Charity, until it twas to collapse. The Spartan left behind his most trusted companion to sabotage the city from inside making her a vow he knew he must keep. The plague spreads through Mombasa, and the Spartan is tasked to use the vile relics to conquer the plague. And is lost at sea. The Spartan and his heroism are lost to duty, yet remain unforgotten.

My lords designed it many millenia ago." *Arbiter:* "And what happened to them?" *Oracle:* "They, along with all life on this sphere, were eliminated to destroy the plague, as planned." *Arbiter:* "Our lords have betrayed us."

We met once in the garden at the beginning of the world and, unaware of our twin destinies, we matched stares across a dry fountain.
"Guardsmen to the bridge! Master Chief Petty Officer John hath betrayed us. Smite him where he stands, brothers."
"Sire... Finishing yon battle."
Lord Hood: Mæster Fief, what art thou doing ‘pon that Covenant caravan?
Mæster Fief: M’Lord, finisheth this quarrel.
*Tartarus:* "It is simple, human, taketh the relic in thy hand, and doeth as instructed."
*Oracle:* "Please sir, do take caution, this knight is delica-"
*Tartarus:* "One more word out of you Oracle, and I'll rip thine eyes from their sockets." "which is nothing compared to the torture I have planned for you."
*Arbiter:* "Tartarus, halt!"
*Tartarus:* "Impossible."
*Arbiter:* "Put down the relic."
*Tartarus:* "And disobey our own noble lords?"
*Arbiter:* "There are many things that our lords do not yet understand about the Halo crusade."
*Tartarus:* "Take care Arbiter, what you speak is heresy."
*Arbiter:* "Is it? Great Oracle, what is the Halo crusade?"
*Oracle:* "Collectively-"
*Tartarus:* "Not another word shall you utter oracle!"
*Johnson:* "Verily I do protest, do not disturb the lantern."
*Johnson:* "If thou wishes to keep ones brain encased in thy helmet, thou shalt order your men to halt!"
*Johnson:* "Alas great sire, doeth thy bidding."
*Arbiter:* "Oracle, what is the Halo crusade?"
*Oracle:* "A last resort to end the plague and eliminate potential hosts of the plague. My lords designed it many millenia ago."
*Arbiter:* "And what happened to them?"
*Oracle:* "They, along with all life on this sphere, were eliminated to destroy the plague, as planned."
*Arbiter:* "Our lords have betrayed us."
"Verily do I protest, do not disturb the lantern."
I'm losing it right now.
We've been fopped, backstabbed, and quite possibly bamboozl'd
_I may hath post this scroll on the previous edition of this fine melody, but mine greatest wish is to share mine writings with the whole of the kingdom!_
*Lady Cortana:* "Pray tell…what is this unknown thing?"
*Vile Gravemind:* "What am I? I am but a collection of all of thine past misdeeds."
*Maester Fief:* "Please calm thyself. I'd prefer not to upset this unknown beast."
*Ser Thel 'Vadamee:* "Mine mortal foe who hath tarnished mine honor!"
*Vile Gravemind:* "This knight is partially a contraption, and remains steadfast. This lord is pure flesh, but is an apparent fanatic and misguided in his views."
*Ser Thel 'Vadamee:* "End mine life or free me from thine grip, vile beast. Mine time is valuable, and I wish it not be wasted with idle conversation."
*Vile Gravemind:* "There hath great quantities of conversation. And how I hath listened! Through uncut stone, metallic ore, and the ages. Now hark as I begin the conversation!"
*MMCDI Penitent Tangent:* "Good morrow! I am MMCDI Penitent Tangent. I am the Monitor of Heaven-Bound Ring V."
*Priest of Regret:* "And I, good sirs and fair maiden, am the Priest of Regret, a leading member of our holy council... one of the three leaders of our most righteous religious unity!"
*MMCDI Penitent Tangent:* "A Reclaimer? Present before me? Praise be! There is still much to be accomplished. If thou would be so kind, we must make haste and ensure this ring’s task is performed if we are to ensure the eradication of this local plague!"
*Priest of Regret:* "Please do not leave mine presence, my dearest congregation! My sermon's delivery is of the utmost priority!"
*MMCDI Penitent Tangent:* "Falsehoods! This heaven-bound ring hath had its hypothesis tested I.II trillion times and successfully executed once. It awaits to be used at a moment’s notice."
*Priest of Regret:* "While our Lords were wise and infallible, their Oracles that hath been left are as valuable as rotten apples! Their knowledge of our highly revered Great Journey is that of a newborn babe!"
*MMCDI Penitent Tangent:* "And _thou_ hast the knowledge of a newborn babe of containment! Thou hast shown the purest ignorance of tasks even a mere child could perform!"
*Vile Gravemind:* "The crystal ball's 'containment'..." _huff!_ "And the elderly priest's 'Great Journey'... are no different. Thine Priests have falsely assured you that your damned soul will be saved from an existence puppetted by the Devil, but thou shall not find the salvation thy seek herein this ring. The architects who constructed this location were aware of its devastating prowess. Do not be hasty in assuming their reasoning, or every soul shall be lost once more."
*Maester Fief:* "This beast speaks truths. Halo is a tool of destruction. Thine holy ones have made a grave and egregious error."
*Thel 'Vadamee:* "Thy foolishness and lack of faith hath caused the senseless destruction of a most sacred piece of mine religion, mine mortal foe. Thou shall not harm another."
*Vile Gravemind:* "If the truths I speak will not be heard by thine ears, then thine eyes will reveal it. If we make haste, the inevitable can be delayed, but thou must find the key. Thou will investigate one potential hiding place, and thou shalt make inquiries in another location. Destiny hath us come together as mortal enemies, but this heavenly body will forge us into a lifelong fraternity."
Nice. Best one yet :)
@@anxiousearth680 You humble me, my lord!
Lady Cortana: "Halo, it did be at an end."
Sir John: *"Nay, I dost believe that we have only just gotten commenced."*
"þi mistaketh is seeing spartans as equipmentr'ys of se ingraft soldi'ry. Mine own spartan's art Mannkinne's next in our destiny as a raceth. Doth not und'restimate θose folk. But moste of al, doth not und'restimate hine."
Nice.
Genuinely surprised Marty hasn't shown up to leave a comment of satisfaction and approval. The only reason logical is that he hasn't seen it yet since I know he'd approve if he had. 😆
When the strings came in @0:45 it a little bit Journey of the Sorcerer, for a moment. Don't panic!
Me: Halo can't sound more ancient and medieval than this.
LjB0: Squire... Get me my lute.
"can thou telleth me what thou is doing in thy castle?"
"M'lord, finishing this battle."
"thy soared in the air quite lavishly, for he be a boulder"
"Knights, to the helm. The Master Fief has become one of ill mind. Down with him, men."
i just wanted to see if friendly fire was possible
RIP shipmaster Keyes
"I needeth ein weapon"
The Gravemind's dialogue wouldn't change
Lady Cortana: You look fair.
Meister Fief and Lord Admiral: Much obliged.
The "Press X to flip siege engine" comment is just unmatched
"I thank thee for thy gift of a trebuchet, my good sir has yet to grant me such gifts"
"Verily doth I know what the ladies desire"
First! Love that you started these remixes, and hope you'll continue!!
fitting how a franchise that treats its Sci-Fi like a fantasy would sound like Fantasy when given a medieval spin
Bruh how!!! The flute part goes even harder than in your first video. Incredible
‘tis unwise to swear an oath to a maiden if thou’st knows thine cannot fulfill it.
“Sir John, behold! We must make haste!”
“Nay, we shall battle.”
Take heed! Whence I was a young man our armies had not such beloved battle wagons, we procured sticks, two sticks and a boulder, the latter, for gods sake ‘twas shared communally.
-Sir Avery, Son of John
Lorde Hood, Admiral of thee fleet: "Master of Chief, would thee care to share thine intensions for stowing away below thee enemies' barge?"
Master of Chief, Spartan II of UNSC: "Sire, bringing to completion this macabre quarrel."
“Waketh thine when you ma’am needeth me”
Sir Chief shalt taketh this battlewagon, rolleth across yonder bridge and smite any foul beast that dost standeth betwixt he and the Prophet of Regret. Thou shalt pull thyself together! For thou art going with him!
the flute solo in this is super metal
Hark to the tale of Sir John the Lucky and Lord Thel the Vengeful.
“How much time was lefteth?”
“Thou don’t want to knoweth”
The perfect mix between Halo and Crusader kings 👌
That feel when your DM is just barely hiding the fact that his "campaign" is actually just that of Halo 3 in medieval style
"lay thine finger on ye letter X to overturn thine siege machine"
Thy are only accustomed to the fifth tale of the green knight, for you hath to lay thine finger on RB to overturn thine siege machine in foregoing legends. I commend acquiring the collection of the sir master chief, for it also contains the tale of the noble knights in the lands of Reach.
I just Want to say Thankyou!
thank you for making this.
Ship Mate: Lord Ship master, thine Covenant Flotilla outnumber us a great plenty!
Lord Ship Master: Then it shall be square; Burn their peasant farms!
God damn, the flutist's on fire.
"Chief Master of Arms, might I inquire what thou art planning on that vessel."
"Milord, ending this quarrel."
Thank you sir for blessing me with this masterpiece
"Pray thee tell, what art thou?"
"I? I be thine throng of sin"
Captain: "Sir Masterchief, thoust mind telling me what thou is planning over there?"
MS: "Gaming M'lord, for the holy land"
Lady of Cort’ana: Watch thy head, for thou is two us in here!
-¿cegado?.
-¡Anonadado!, ¡Estupefacto!.
-No,
excelente.
I love the edit of master fief playing the luth 😂👋
I've heard a couple these, and while a lot of people are joking, it really stands as a testament to the strength of the compositions that, even with a nearly completely different set of instruments they retain their feeling.

I need this in the background of my Age of Empires games
I have been Roland, Beowulf, Achilles, Gilgamesh.
I have been called a hundred names and will be called a
thousand more before the world goes dim and cold.
I am a hero. She has been nameless since our birth,
a constant adversary caring for nothing but my ruin,
a sword drenched in my blood forever, my greatest and
only love. She is the dark one, the enemy and lover, without
whom my very existence would be pathetic and vulgar!
Our relationship is complex and perhaps eternal.
We met once in the garden at the beginning of the world
and, unaware of our twin destinies, we matched stares
across a dry fountain. And I recall her smiling at me before
she devoured the lawn and trees with a translucent blue flame
and tore flagstones from the path and hurled them into the
sky, screaming my sins. I powder a granite monument in a
soundless flash, showering the grass with molten drops of
its gold inlay, sending smoking chips of stone
skipping into the fog. She splinters an ancient oak
with a force that takes my breath and hurls me to the ground.

“And so, thoust must be silenced”
Wiki bought me here as they lists this as the 1st Bardcore song. I would say Alina Gingertail has been doing medieval covers before it was cool. Great work by the way.
"But soft! Brute cavalry, staggered line! Shipmaster, we are outnumbered thrice over!"
"Then 'tis a battle of even field."
"What cometh this way? More foul beasts?"
"Worst."

"Lord, we hath forever been your appointed guard."
"These are tasking times, o Arbiter."
Sir John, what art thou doing upon the enemy’s battlements?
My lord. Finishing this fight.

"Lo, Ser Avery, Son of John, when shalt thee appeal me a tale of thou great escape?"
"Forgive me Serjeant, tis of utmost secrecy."
"Hah! Bite thine arse! Thou shalt relinquish the thought of calibrations to thou trebuchet-"
"He appears to exude an air of excitement. Perhaps thine King, Lord Hood, hath not bequeathed unto him an invitation."
