I love this song - sad they cut it from the film - I always love this bit when I watch the show I have seen the show three times so far and I am hoping to go and watch it again in London later this year
Saw this version of the show while it was touring in Toronto; thank you for posting! I sat stage right and was MYSTIFIED as to how Donna got on the bed, had no idea she was just hiding behind the chorus. Very clever staging and choreography and such a memorable number!
Good show and I quite like when the bride came in and turned out to be Sky. That was a awesome set up with that nightmare chorus. That made my day. Robert
Steven Bowden Yes, but who is? Sophie or Donna? Both spend time in the bed. Also, that doesn't explain Sky in the wedding dress, or the chorus dressed as blue and green lifeguards. Try to describe this out loud, and you'll see why I don't get it
Lambert Brother hope this helps still needs some answers The song is one of the opening numbers performed by the character of Sophie for the second act of the musical Mamma Mia!. In the context of the musical, the song is sung by Sophie as a nightmare about her wedding and also, about how to solve the situation
Steven Bowden to clarify, I have seen the show and I think it's great! But this song does not and will never make sense to me. But seriously, try to describe this scene out loud.

It starts out sort of logical, like you say, then it just gets really weird and confusing
