So well-read and written, I thoroughly enjoyed that! …I don’t have any problem with hear a man read a woman’s part, or vise versa; it’s all in the delivery, and Yours was excellent. Thank-You so much for this!!

Hello, I don't normally like a story told by one narrator without character accents but your narration was hypnotic and gripping from beginning to end. A most enjoyable and intriguing story. Thank you. Xxx
Ha, I really can’t do character accents….I only do the stories I like but can’t source….….I also have a podcast called ‘the historical crimes and criminals podcast’ if you want lots more interesting stories read by me
This is possibly the Most DEPRESSING voice I have ever heard. Couldn't take it. Hope I find the story somewhere else with a narrator who sounds alive.😮

Very nicely read - calm, good pacing, and easy to listen to. Loved the story. I hope you’ve read other books. I subscribed. I love the lilt of your accent - English is more staccato. I’d love to hear you read the short stories of James Joyce :) 🌷🌱

Sorry, this narrator didn't do it for me because there was no change, no emotion in his voice. Us Scots have natural reflections in our voices and this is just a drone on and on. Did this young man not read the book beforehand to find where to lift and lower his voice? Sounds like Inspector Blandey was reading this book, sorry. A proud central region Scot.

Someone else mentioned the way your vocal pitch goes up at the end of almost every sentence, making it sound like a question. Some Americans do the same. So is it just you or do all the Scots where you are from speak that way? It's a bit wearing after a while. I have to say that my phone rang about 15 minutes into this story and I'm not sure if I want to continue. I don't mind a good rich Scottish brogue but the pitch thing gets annoying after a while. If you are hoping to make some money from this, perhaps a good vocal coach could be helpful. Bye.
Unexpected voice. Just great!
Thank you….always understated

Good story, but spoiled by the staccato tones of the reader, nothing flows and the breaks are in the wrong places.😞

perfect narration and accent for this wonderful story. Thank you

The whiney tone is really irritating. !
Accent adds to the atmosphere! Listening on New Years Day 2023 :) Thanks for sharing. New sub from SW Missouri

This one is read by me…
Wonderfully read, thank you!
Awful reader ..
Yeah...we sort of guessed it wasn't Laurence Olivier . Don't give up the
day job.
Really well read by you , thank you.
The accent is Glaswegian.
Ha ha…..absolutely…I only record the stories I like but can’t source elsewhere
Thank you for your reading! However, because of the cadence I thought you were from "Norden" Ireland 😊
Ha ha….degrees of separation to be fair!
I see you have Van Gogh’s Ear for accents
4min 42sec..
The accent, ...
Love the accent
Ahh….go to Scotland

The narrator's accent distracts in the telling of this story!
I stop early when I realised the denteL character was female read by a male. Sorry
Ha ha…don’t ever go to Scotland

He probably thinks he sounds like
Sean Connery . Alas....No !
Not a scottish accent again ,!
Very nice accent! I would like to know where it comes from...
Scottish
@@Greatstoriesyoulllove thanks.
The narrator's voice? ending every several words in an uptone? as though asking a question? It's very irritating?
Terrible, is this real or a joke?
I looooooove your accent! (Irish?)
Almost….Scottish!!
You can also check out more stories by me on my podcast called ‘the historical crimes and criminals podcast’
Obviously Scottish.
Glasgae?
I had to abandon this because the narrator's voice is particularly awful.
Terrible reading, a single cadence throughout, with every sentence ending in a lift, as if an inquiry.
It’s a Scottish accent. I don’t like the American accent.
Which American accent do you not like !? Texan , New York , Virginia
Louisiana...? Typical arrogant
Scot / Brit comment.!
This would be great but the reader is awful.
Sadly read by a very monotonous voice and I lost interest
Ha ha….that’s my voice….good job I don’t take offence easily!
The reader gives this story its due, brilliant
I found it hypnotic-- and perfect. It gave that final sentence an amazing punch. Excellent narration.
