@@lewishewitt943 It's because while the old music videos have a lot of views and engagement, GMM is more consistent and gained them a massive fanbase that wasn't there from before so they don't get the reference. Only a percentage of them would go back and watch all the old stuff.

Fun Fact: Rob tried to get the entire cast of Always Sunny to gain weight just for fat jokes, but ultimately everyone else refused. He ended up doing it just so they could make a "Big Mac" joke. Now thats commitment to your craft
He actually did it because he didn't like how everyone gets better looking as seasons go on, so he went the opposite direction and started to cultivate mass.
He also tried to get Danny Devito to lose weight, so it was like a total role reversal
