The solution will go down in level as you use it and also from evaporation. There is a warning LED when the level is too low. Usually you can get couple months use out of it. You can buy replacement solution on Amazon. amzn.to/3Reljw8

Thanks for the video. One question, after using the auto cleaning do you need to rinse the shaver head with water, or can you just go ahead and shave? In other words is the cleaning solution bad on your skin if you don't rinse with water after the cleaning? Please advise. Thank you
Thanks for the video... I just got mine (just opened) and I have a question about charging... Can I charge it with the dock without use the solution? I mean following Ur videos I need to turn on the solution button but it will still charge the shaver if I don't press the cleaning button?
Great video, thanks. I have questions. After the shaver, I took the blade off and rinse the blade and handle it with running water. Once a week, I put it in the cradle to clean with alcohol. So, am I using it right? Or, should I do any other way, like every day use the cradle to clean that up?
i think its "smart" and cleans when the shaver tells it too. manual says it has 3 cleaning intensities that it chooses based on how long its been used since last clean
The base unit does not dry the shaver. Fan runs a long time but is ineffective. Drain holes are not plugged. I bought this unit to replace a Braun 7 w/o fan in the base. Wasted money for me.
Yes you can. Open up the screen cover and run it under warm water to rinse out shaving. If you don't need it right away, let it dry overnight before putting the screen back on.
The Braun user manual is like a big textbook. This four-minute video is very clear.

You don't need to rinse it. You can let it dry overnight and use it next day.

Yes you can charge the shaver without using the cleaning function. Just put the shaver in the charging stand and it will start charging.

Is this all you have to do or do you also have to open it up every now and again. Where do the hairs go?!
Your hair ends up in the cleaning cartridge until you have to drain it & install a fresh one.

Yes there is a trimmer on the back that you can flip up.

How long you should clean it?
Several weeks ?
Depending how much hair you have to trim. For light users, clean every 2 weeks. For heavy users, clean every week.
The new series 8 is actually the old series 7 shaverhead combined with the body of the series 9
Now that I look at the head, it makes sense. The series 7 head is pretty good.
