Thank you for sharing this. I have several question for you? If I had an accident and hit my upper nose could it have caused 1. Me to loose my septum? My ENT Dr. said that it was completely gone.2. Could it had been hit so hard that it came dislodged? I have several pictures of when I first blew my nose after the accident. 3. I have lost my sense of smell and I was wondering if it will come back? Thank you for your time. 🙏🏻💜
Sorry if this sounds ridiculous but I need answers to calm my ocd. When you smell something the particles dissappear right? They can't go back and be expelled while breathing right?
Question? What is going on when someone has a really sensitive sense of smell? Nothing has been detected "wrong," and the smells are accurate only very strong.
@@jeremiegalan007 it returned after 6 weeks. But still isn't the same but I'm glad I have somthing back. Constant fatigue brain fog and depression. Are the aftermath it's not nice
I suffer from hyperosmia, an intense sense of smell. I believe this disorder was caused by the chemicals in paint. I sanded and painted several floors last winter and did not open windows for better ventilation. I've had several blood test done to be sure there were no chemicals in my blood. I had a cat scan on lungs to be sure they were clear. Made an appointment with an ENT who scheduled an MRI on my brain. All came back as normal. I believe that I injured my receptors. Is it possible that over time they will return to something close to normal sense of smell? My ENT says there is nothing else to do but live with it. I'd hate to think that it won't get better.
I lost my sense of smell after I had surgery of polyps. I don't know what to do. Im in great depression and it has effected my memory a lot. Please give me advice what should I do. And I will suggest everyone please don't go for polyp surgery. It will ruin your life

I can’t feel any smells at all since 8 months, what do I do?? Is there anything I can do to get my smell and taste back??
6:37 Aaaaand . . . ."The person experiences the conscious awareness of that smell" . . . ..

One possibility is the shortage of nasal hairs. Thus, more of the particles from objects could reach the olfactory epithelium and get detected.
well done !! please keep going

It could be because of Covid19. Somebody I know had a corona and the only symptoms he had were a loss of taste and smell senses.
