Tired, stressed and burned out, I sat in bed one night, doing my math homework. I decided to take a break after a while, and went to RUclips, where this video popped up in my recommended feed. I was overwhelmed, it had been ages since I listened to this soundtrack, and I had been looking for a video with good quality for a long time. Exited like a small child, I put on my headphones and pressed play. The nostalgia hit me hard as the melody progressed, and I enjoyed every second, up until 3:40. Then something happened. You know those cliché movie scenes where a character gets this huge realisation about life? Yeah, that's exactly what happened to me in that moment. I started crying, and somehow every little problem made sense to me. It was then I came to a conclusion. I decided to change schools, going from natural science to music production and songwriting, and I have not regretted my choice one second since, and it's all thanks to this masterpiece of a soundtrack. It has literally been life-changing for me. Thank you for uploading this beautiful piece of music.☆ (I just wanted to share my story to show how huge of an impact something as small as a piece of music can make within someone♡) Update (07/09/21): all these replies warm my heart; thank you so so much ~ I graduated from my music school this summer and couldn't be happier about where I am today. I was absolutely blown away by this short, and when that music started during that amazing ending to the short, I had complete chills and started tearing up. They were happy tears
I was 18 when I first hear this music and that time I knew it was special because it stirs hope deep within me and now after all these years it stills make u feel like there is something good to look forward to, it always makes me hopeful. A feeling I kinda forgotten. This music was a true treasure.
