Another very instructional video. It actually takes me back to my first time playing this game. I was outside the encampment doing the trial to unlock my pawn and thought, the game really wants me to fight this beast with Rook as my only support? I remember being pissed but that Cyclops was almost dead which game me unwarranted confidence against the others in the game. Boy these techniques would have come in handy at that point. Hope new gamers are checking this out. These tips can really help if you find yourself confronting a Cyclops with only a low level pawn at your side. Nice work.
Thanks Derek. I think my first play was similar, but I got lucky and Rook grabbed his leg and knocked him down pretty quickly. After that I just climbed his head and started to use the sword. I do remember thinking "damn he's nearly dead, this will be easy... " and well it took some time, with those stupid Goblins getting in the way. Man, I love that first playthrough of Dogma. The unknown, the figuring things out, and all of those terrible decisions that I made because I didn't know anything.
Cyclops have always been one of my favorites. They give good exp and are very easy to predict.
Nihil0.0 Wow. Nice experience with Rook. I wanted him to cast fire. He of course grappled the Cyclops was knocked off then stated say, THEY have the advantage. Lol Good times.
I too miss that first time experience. This game is so rich when it's first unearthed. That's why I enjoy vids like this because they remind me of my first encounters with the beasties.
Yeah, I also remember that first play when I watch videos or playthroughs. Trying to put myself back into that moment of unknown.
Good ol' Rook. Never a dull time with his dialogue.
You can tell a lot of time and effort go into these, seriously great job
Thanks Khonshu. It does require some time and detail. I appreciate your appreciation.
Loving this series so far
I am liking it as well. Eventually will reach Daimon
Pls do Daimon. That'd be great. I got stuck there almost a year back now and got too burnt out and distracted with other games to keep trying. I hate that fucker and got so worked up when seeing people take him out in seconds.
I do have an older video on Daimon already. Showing the attack patterns and such. May be helpful. But yes, there will be a Daimon episode later

Nihil0.0 Awesome! Will definitely give it another shot sometime soon, thanks 👌
Gorecyclops are bloody infuriating when they show up out of nowhere.
I had one show up in one of the really tight corridors, and when he raged, there was quite literally no escape
Love what you are doing.
Came on ur channel randomly. Good work boi
Thanks Peter
Nihil0.0 your schematic videos are also very great.
Thanks. I really did spend a lot of time on those.
If you were to be isekaid into another world which is similar to ddda then im sure u would become an sss ranked adventurer who had his knee shot by an random arrow xD
yeah the clothes the player is in makes me feel like she is a gladiator fighting for her life, and im pretty sure she gonna live long with someone like you controling her xD
This series is S tier, good job dude
AWESOME brother, you make the finest schematic videos for epic Dragon dogma
i like to fight that gigantic cyclop from BBI wile standing right below him
if i playing as Fighter
is just funny to see him doing the same exact pissed off animation of the regular cyclops :)
i like wat your assassin was wearing btw
4:05 XD i love when they do that shit
not sure if i should laugh or give them a teddy bear hug ?
those hilarious big dummies
Thanks Dragoth. Yeah that Giant Condemned Cyclops gets a lot of Ankle hits on his Achilles Heel. That's the Emissary Armor set. Looks cool. It's from the Black Cat's inventory
Yeah those Cyclops have that sad puppy dog look, with the Puppy dog eyes..... wait.... Puppy dog eye
Can't wait to see your dragon video I got stomped by one of them in a forest near shadow fortress.
Fire Drake. He has many attack patterns, and many weaknesses. I will do a Minor Dragon video, including the Fire Drake, Thuner Wywern, and the Frost Wyrm. And a Major Dragon video with Grigori, UR, and Cursed Dragon.
As much as I have played this game I never knew about how to get the helmet off trick.....wow damn wish I knew this long before
I spent an embarrassing amount of time dinging his helmet thinking I was doing something lmao
the enemies schematics are fun to watch Nihil, it's very informative, by the way? is there a weapon like Force Hatched for daggers?
Thank you Raden.
There are no daggers with that effect. And I'm ok with that. Those Daggers would be too OP. Daggers could gain the charge much quicker than a Sword, and then the LongBow would have the boost. Also I am ok that there are no Daggers with Iraklis equivalent. Climbing with Kisses would make that Critical chance happen way to often. There is the AtrchStaff that has Force Hatchet effect, the Caged Fury, and that can be pretty OP with Miasma or Maelstrom.
Nihil0.0 oh so sadly Nihil, Force Hatched is not working after wind effect from the dragon and also Death sleep spell?
Correct. Like I say, Force Hatchet will change the way you play. It will make you notice bad habits that you didn't realize you had.
Are you more likely to inflict torpor with a Golden forged Rusted Dagger than with a Normal Dragonforged one? Does the percentage still the same for the two examples?
The higher the upgrade, the higher the chance to enduce. Same for Silence from Gold weapons. Morbidity augment helps increase 30%, I think.
@@Nihil0.0 That's good to know. Thank you and keep up the good work!! :)
i wonder how those guys got chained up in the first place...
Even better, How did they get them to fit through that narrow hallway?
well actually, they do seem rather emaciate and catatonic, and considering they can break those chains easily, yet choose not to, one of the assumptions would be that they are raised that way.
Idk, they are clearly tortured though.
Ahhhh yeah, that sounds right. Hmmm, they are always in a room that can spawn Corrupt Sorcerers, so maybe they're the keepers.
bbi is damn screwed up, man.
Amazing video . Really nice and explanatory . Could you do a video about Death on Bitterblack isle ? How to prepare for a battle for him and what to use ? I tried many times to kill him but failed . Well playing with sorcerer against Death isnt the smartest idea
Right, Sorcerer is not ideal for Death. Miasma is probably the best option. If you have the Adept's hat, the Miasma fogs will last longer. You could set a miasma and the lure Death to that location and have him do his Lantern. While he does his Lantern you can land another Miasma on him. The Miasma's stack on top each other. 4 Demon's Periapts prior. You wont be able to kill him in one go, it will require a few spawns.
When he begins to raise his Sythe for a swing run away and then to a side and then directly behind him after his swing. Land a Miasma on him while you are close, and he will begin his Lantern, which keeps him stationary.
If you do this in a tight hallway he is limited is his traverse and will remain in the Miasma fogs for longer duration.
I will do a video for Death, but it will be awhile. Closer to the end of the series.
And thank you for the kind words Eileen.
Thanks for your response !! I really appreciate it . I will give it a try :D
HEELLLP how do you do the "double dagger", whenever I hit a cyclop/ bigger enemy with my dagger I only hit once per strike
use the ability "scarlet kisses" instead of your default light attack.
Derrick thx
np
Thanks Derrick.
DaDog, like Derrick said, while Climbing you can use the Dagger Skill Kisses. Welcome to an entire new world of Bad-ass
13:40 How the hell did you get that shot?
18:56 Time to show off
I know, that was a crazy shot. Luck.... and I did drink a Redbull prior
I find this is the best, or at least my favorite way to dispatch the Condemned Cyclops
Awesome Nihil!! Any chance on an Ogre Schematic?
Nihil0.0 awesome i'll be checking out both! Thank you
Can you ever make a stone Cyclops with anything? (for the small cyclops) I use too many petrification arrows for nothing.they just a little slower and die before that. I stop to try now because this arrows it too expensive! but if someone ever made it! I want to try again.
Nope the Cyclops cannot be Petrified. The Gore Cyclops can be put to sleep with Sleeper arrows, and maybe the smaller lesser Cyclops as well, but not the Condemned Cyclops. They can all be torpored which helps a ton
What is ligtning on arisen?
Emissary Armor set. Has the effect of lightning -
ruclips.net/video/3CgtJZDd-AM/видео.html&t=
what is this electricity effect?
This is the Monomi Armor set from the Black Cat. High resistance to Lightning. I show it along with all Black Cat items in this video below.
Looks cool right
ruclips.net/video/3CgtJZDd-AM/видео.html&t
damn i thought the black cat items are just knock-offs of actual good weapons in the game so i never bought them cuz i thought they suck
The Force Hatchet sword is very awesome, and the Iraklis is great. The Armor looks nice, and provides high Elemental resistance for one Element, depending on the set. Ancient Armor set has great Debilitation resistances.
condemned is a pain in the ass his movement becomes far too fast in enrage mode compared to normal so it catches you of guard the first couple of times you fight him
It's not so much his speed. His huge advantage is his size, he can get closer to us much quicker. Another thing is he is often too big for the room, he will lose his hitboxes in the walls, and the walls will push him out of range while you are attacking him.
But yes, he is a pain. All of that armor can really make him a long fight
Nihil0.0 there's also the swinging while running atack which is hard to evade since you can't really keep track of his hands and if you dodge too early the second swing is bound to hit you before you can dodge again especially difficult in the small room during your first encounter
Yeah, he has long reach with that Club. Stay somewhat close to him, and he tends to use the single downward strike most of the time, and usually only uses his many swings when you get too far
