Honour and Respect to all Veterans but I can't help but think that if the WWII veterans could see the state of our country they would wonder what they fought for. Their great victory has been completely betrayed.

Stop separating veterans into groups. We all volunteer, regardless of ethnicity, we all do the same job. So an indigenous veteran suffered more than my relatives or myself? Why because of the color of our skin? I have hundreds of my family who fought and died, as well as friends that I served with, what does it matter what color they were? And I say this as someone who is technically Metis. And let's not forget that so-called first Nations people fought to deny my ancestors treaty rights.........

@kaymatthew6812 I think you're forgetting that indigenous people were warring with each other and allied themselves with the British and the French....... They didn’t fight for "Canada“.
They fought for an empire which was thousands of kilometers away.
The people of modern-day Canada were fighting in the world wars, so Britain doesn’t lose its empire to Germany. That was the sole reason and the real tragedy…

Or what would’ve been if Canada would’ve lost the Korean War….? which they did.
Or if they would’ve lost the Vietnam war….? which they did.
So after all those lost wars, did you also lose your "democracy“ and "freedom“?
Is Canada fighting for Canada or for whoever is controlling and/or influencing their foreign policy?

Our veterans must always be remembered.
On another note, I think one impressive way to 'turbocharge' the big landmass and its people, America and Canada, would be to wipe away the border which stunts progress, divides people and creates tension at times. No more high taxes for Canadians.
Elon or some other wealthy dude should be able to fork out some money to Canadian adults to make it happen since there are only about 29 mil. adults in the big land.
On another note, just think of Canadians as well as people from other nations who have gone to America to seek their fame and fortune and have been successful.
A prime example would be S. African born Musk who spent three years in Canada, went south to America to seek his fame and fortune and is likely to become the world's first trillionaire.

It is a shame that what they fought for has been belittled and besmirched by a regime who is run by young, rich idiots who haven't a clue what hardship is! Who have never had a tough day at all!
It disgusts me to no end how this group lives and treats Canada! How their brand of leadership has become thinly veiled fascism. That which so many millions died to stop. Trudeau has the gall to raise its ugly head in Canada and lay a wreath at the feet of those who are true heroes!
