- G'day everyone, Mum and I are back at Costco checking out the prices, looking for specials, and trying lots of samples.

I applaud you for always being so patient… I’d get frustrated trying to score a sample especially when people take more than one at a time!

woolies banana bread, 5x 100g individually sealed for $6.5
im not a fan of woolies at all but that banana bread is a lil expensive at $11 for the same amount

I don't know exactly where you are!1 But love watching your Costco reviews!! Our local is on Churchill Rd here in SA!! So hopefully same products for same price!! But now know what to look out for!! Cheers!! P.S...not afraid to say it!! I get those big boxes of Libra period pads there in the background!! Normal price is $21.99!! But on special you can get them for around $13 or $11 a box!! A very big bargain when a single pack is like $5 in Woolworths!! P.P.S...I see the samples go very quickly!! LOL!!

I am grateful they don't have those mini banana breads in NY. I've been trying to make a vegan version but so far not a good result even though it has a terrific flavor. I noticed the ice cream was back in the food court, but you passed on it!
My son loved the little banana breads. I might have to try and make my own. Also, we were in a bit of a hurry on this day so I had to pass on the ice-cream. We might get it next time, hopefully it's there 👍

bigger sizes but if your divide the strawberries by the amount you can but them for on special at Coles then Coles is cheaper.
sometimes Coles and Woollies have good specials, its' good to research before a Costco trip 👍
He's using pipis & mussels as bait?? Where I live it's hard to get both of those which we used to cook a lot when we lived in Sydney. Miss both so much.... Stuffed mussels 😋 pipis for spaghetti with vongole 😋 It's not really a lot of mussels because you can't eat the shells 🇮🇹😂
We have a lot of fresh seafood down here where we live on the Mornington Peninsula. My husband gets them pretty cheap so can justify using it for bait. He turns them into some whiting, snapper and shark so we get to eat that instead. Those stuffed mussels sound nice though 😊
@@GoodyYumYumstuffed mussels are addictive 😅 breadcrumbs, minced garlic, freshly grated pecorino romano cheese, finely diced Italian parsley, olive oil, eggs, salt & pepper.... Mix all the ingredients & then you cover the mussel that's still in it's half shell.... Put them in a pot with pasta sauce on top & a little water underneath so they steam with the lid on until cooked 😋😋😋

Is it just me or are the pizza 🍕 slices getting smaller at Costco?
I'm waiting for Costco to bring back to the food court bargain which was chicken hamburger/chips/drink for 10 bucks.cheaper than macdonalds and better tasting and off course bigger serving, compared to the mini version of hamburger they have at maccas now. It even beats the chips at KFC, their large portion of chips @KFC has shrunk by half...Come on Costco bring it back NOW!

Mum said it was $19.95 for that piece. She got it for my uncle, it's his favourite 👍
Can you and your mum go Christmas shopping at big w and Kmart and reject shop You might find good deals and maybe your mum can show us some shopping tips what’s yours and mums favourite shopping centre .
That sounds good 👍 it's a bit hard finding the time to do it though. I've got some Christmas present idea videos coming up soon. Also, Mum's favourite shopping centre would be anywhere she could get some bargains 😊

yes you do, a Costco membership is $65 per year. I make that back just from savings on kitty litter, cheese and Pepsi Max in a year so it works for me 😊

Costco seems like a rip off. You pay 65 to have the privilege of shopping there and the saving are not really there. Its looking more and more like a scam every day.
You do have to know your prices. I use the coles and woolies apps and add what’s on my shopping list to compare prices. The meat is cheaper than coles and woolies and the quality is so much better. On the cost of the items I buy I more than save the membership fee plus I stock up so am shopping a lot less.
I agree Claire. Know your prices and think about if you really need large quantities of a certain item. I make my membership back easily just by filling up on Costco discount petrol each visit.
@ my general health is not great and my immune system is worse, so getting out of the house is nice and stocking is the bonus. I’ve never used the petrol as I’ve heard bad things about it, but it might be scare mungering. Have you had any issues?
