The way that Annie has been acting reminds me of a documentary I saw where a female chimpanzee became despondent from her natal group. Her instincts were telling herself to leave. This often happens with great ape females in order to prevent inbreeding. She looks frequently out over the wall and hides from her family below. I do believe that her instincts to leave the group are kicking in. She is afraid of being away from her dad Shabani. Ai and Kiyomasa have been trying to dominate Annie as they don't understand her behavior and why she won't play with them much. It makes the situation worse as Annie becomes even less close to them right now. Annie is in a zoo, so she can't leave even if her instincts tell her to. I understand that Shabani would be heartbroken without his beloved daughter. She does seem unhappy in the group with the exception of her dad. I hope they eventually pair her with Gentaro as they are both so smart.
Annie loves her dad and her dad adores her.

I hope Annie always has a nice place to sit and see the horizon
