nice, i think the bass thing with the godfather sample isn't bending the rules too much, using the phrase to slice the sample is a nice idea. you cah use process -> silence selection to silence a selection, but that is more menu diving than just using the draw tool like you did.
that's right. i was planning more initially to take it in that direction - more minimal/clicky style. there's still some hints of that in the final track and i think it worked out well pairing that with the crisp 606 drums
