The bill was killed because of its content, "The Border Bill" was full of spending for things other than just the US border, Out of $118.3 billion, roughly $60 billion was for military aid to Ukraine, $14.1 billion in aid to Israel, $4.83 billion in aid to the Indo-Pacific region, $10 billion in humanitarian assistance for Ukraine, Israel, Gaza and other places, $2.3 billion in refugee assistance inside the US and only $20.2 billion for improvements to US border security, oh...and $2.72 billion for "domestic uranium enrichment". So, maybe if there wasn't so much funding for other things than the US border in the "Border Bill", it may have passed? idk🤷🏼♂️

This is why we need an Amendment that one calls for all bills be one item specific only. Two allows for line item veto. Three For any bills to pass it MUST be done by a three quarters vote in both houses.
