Oh Man Tom...that is one fabulous looking vehicle and that delivery lady was really, really impressive and whatever she is being paid is not enough. Really impressed! That is a way better looking vehicle than the Tesla Cybertruck...the Lightning is maybe a touch more due to the traditional look but wow that is one incredible vehicle. Impressive agent from Rivian. She enjoys what’s she’s doing, even when it takes a ‘public’ twist. Props to the company for how they train and obviously encourage their employees to handle themselves. Excellence is beyond knowledgeable.
I'm very impressed with the Rivian delivery person and they knew their stuff. Very hilarious about the charging situation. Looks like they know who you are. I learned so much Tom and thanks. I have a test drive for the R1S in 2 weeks time and I'm now more prepared than ever.

I live in PA and am patiently waiting for my delivery of pretty much the same configured vehicle. I sure hope Shade delivers mine! Very knowledgeable and knows the the vehicle well. I now know what to expect when my R1t gets here.

Tom wow hats off to your Rivian delivery specialist. She did an amazing job. My only one critique would be what she stated the payload and it’s not just her. I think most Rivian people state that it’s whatever 1764 pounds. Look inside your drivers door at the label you’re probably depending on your options around the 1400 pound range.

I was able to livestream my delivery. The delivery person was super cool and enthusiastic. The viewers were even able to pick the brains of one of the delivery persons while I was signing my paperwork.
Well I know one thing Tesla will be mad because she has great customer service and she has a beautiful name Sade. The song Smooth Operator by Sade. Great video Tom and Sade did a wonderful job ✌🏾

This delivery experience, her knowledge.. Everything I’ve loved about the company since first seeing the R1T at the LA Auto Show was displayed in this video. Knowledgeable engineers and technicians that are also approachable and enthusiastic about the vehicles and company they represent

39:26 I do think Ford did one thing really important with the Lightning that Rivian missed out on - the front grill goes up with the hood, so the front storage compartment is a lot easier to access. Without a step on the front - there's not even a protruding bumper - reaching the bottom of the frunk looks to be really difficult even for relatively tall folk. Kudos for the delivery person being amicable to the filming, and the walkaround seemed to be pretty thorough. Never had a dealer do anything close to that level of introduction.
Awesome delivery video. You are invited to take a video of my Lucid delivery in Florida later this year. Every time we took delivery of a Mercedes, the sales person had this level of knowledge. Rivian should use your video to train other delivery people. I would suggest putting Alex in the gear tunnel, but due to water seals he might suffocate. Ha..ha. So don’t do it. Is there an inside release button in case someone is locked inside?

Gulfport and Route 10 is already covered in the panhandle.... The next stage will be covering Route 20 inside and outside of Mississippi, at some point, Is my supposition based on the current EA map....

My Rivian Delivery person was the same way. I had him hear for about 2 to 3 hours connecting everything, test driving to make sure there were no driving issues with the truck. He was more than happy to go through all of it and connect each thing. The only question I could not get answered was how do you access the cabin air filter. It is not behind the glove box since there is not one.
Excellent video. It was very informative. Very knowledgeable delivery specialists. Thanks. I came very close to placing my order (before the price increase), but just could not justify the expense for my needs. Now with the price increase it’s really not an option. I also had concerns with a “startup” car manufacturer. Hopefully, Rivian will succeed. It appears they have a good truck, but unfortunately, they do not offer an option similar to the Ford Lightning Pro series that would be more affordable for small businesses or typical consumers. Of course, they offer 4 motors and lots of performance for those who can afford such.

Great video for those of us that quite can’t get to paying that much for that vehicle. Hopefully they will all go down in price so the masses will be able to afford. I have one big question. If you need service how long and where, and what kind of service will you receive? It must be mobile, but it remains to been how fast they get to you.

Thank you. EA doesn't tell me or anyone when and where new sites would be located until they formally announce them.
