I'm not a golfer. However, I find it ridiculous that the courses are closed. Golfers, park goers can easily stay 6 feet apart while exhaling into moving open air with UV rays. Those sun rays have been said to kill the virus faster than any disinfectant. The most dangerous place we can be is in a grocery store aisle trapped between people in unmoving air. I'll take my chances outdoors, not in Walmart. AND...HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!....you have many, many years left of looking just SPECTACULAR...just relax.

Don Paquette we had exactly the same measures in place in the uk but now all the courses have been closed since Tuesday and will be for the next 3 weeks at least which really sucks especially as the risk is so minimal compared to going to the supermarket etc...that said I understand why the government is being so cautious and we all have a responsibility to help reduce that risk.
Same in Sacramento with the city courses and some of the public golf courses. Cups turned upside down, no rakes, no ball washers. There is still a few run by ClubCorp that are closed

As a golfer, I think golf might be the safest thing we should be doing. My game is what I refer to as Weeds Water and Woods. That’s where I spend most of my time, often in futile attempts to find my ball. If the courses opened, I don’t believe we’d be in any danger of contracting anything worse than a sunburn. If you don’t walk the course, ride in separate carts, Lysol wipes, and refraining from grabbing each other’s balls would likely leave us far safer than being at home. I have followed your social media for a while but I have always been impressed with your willingness to share about behavior health issues and bullying. It is heartbreaking to see how you went through so many tough times but as a manager for a mobile crisis team, I see all the time how students in middle and high school, particularly those who suffer from depression and anxiety, get absolutely pushed over the edge when they start getting bullied. I love your regular content but you have been a wonderful voice in these other issues that you are passionate about.

first off happy birthday. i have just started playing golf at 65 years old and really enjoying it. i dont mind golf courses being open as long as people are responsible and go round in twos. just a big thanks for your tips on the short game it really helped me. remember you are you and be happy in your life because as you know there are a lot of idiots in the world who dont like to see other people happy.

Happy birthday Paige! As far as the virus and golfing, I golfed with my wife a day or so before they shut down the courses here in Pa. Trust me, I'd still be golfing if they didn't shut them down. That day, we were never with 50 yards from anyone else, accept when we paid and when we let a single play through us. I never considered golf an activity that had any reason to shut down for this virus. We're two healthy adults in our 60's but I'm not concern about things out of my/our control. Deal with it like anything else in life, as best you can!

I have played chip and putt, but it's been years and I really wanted to get into the "real" game of golf. I was wondering if you could do some videos on the basics of golf. I know you did a few brief tips, but I thought maybe just go a little more in depth on topics such as... What clubs are good for a decent starter set, without breaking the bank? Golf stance and body placement and body movement. Proper club grip and different types. I know that most of your subscribers are avid golfers, but as a beginner, those are a few suggestions I have, but I'm sure you, as a professional, can come up with tons more!! Stay safe and healthy and your "sassyness" was well understood and much needed in this day and age!!

first off happy birthday. i have just started playing golf at 65 years old and really enjoying it. i dont mind golf courses being open as long as people are responsible and go round in twos. just a big thanks for your tips on the short game it really helped me. remember you are you and be happy in your life because as you know there are a lot of idiots in the world who dont like to see other people happy.

All golf courses in my home country Canada are closed. Wishing every day I could play, but it’s absolutely necessary to avoid all public spaces at all costs. Future birdies and 10-foot putts depend on it.

As far as the virus and golfing, I golfed with my wife a day or so before they shut down the courses here in Pa. Trust me, I'd still be golfing if they didn't shut them down. That day, we were never with 50 yards from anyone else, accept when we paid and when we let a single play through us. I never considered golf an activity that had any reason to shut down for this virus. We're two healthy adults in our 60's but I'm not concern about things out of my/our control.

Golf stance and body placement and body movement.
Proper club grip and different types.
I know that most of your subscribers are avid golfers, but as a beginner, those are a few suggestions I have, but I'm sure you, as a professional, can come up with tons more!!
